Wasn't Yasuo supposed to be the Kog'Maw of mid lane?

Completely weak and garbage early game? Complete monster if early game is played properly? High risk high reward?

I instead feel like his early game is better than that of several other champions, he bullies, his shield is fking stupid and blocks harass, and it feels like there isn't much "risk" to picking him at all. But the reward is always there.

Anyone else feel the same?

No, he never was. I don't know where that idea came from. A lot of people said he was weak early game when he came out because no one knew how to play him, but I don't remember Riot ever saying anything in particular about Yasuo's power curve.

In actuality, Yasuo is very similar to Riven: High kill pressure early, average to top tier midgame transition depending on how hard you snowball, and falls off fairly hard late game unless his team comp is built specifically around him.

Oh look another Yasuo complaint thread. People need to learn how to play against him, if your ranged auto him to get rid of his shield every so often if he wastes his windwall blocking an auto, go in. If your melee your probably fucked because warriors bloodlust is strong, so don't fight.

Yes ill AA him so i can knock out his shield, which he gets back in a matter of seconds, and having to AA some one as an AP just to make your spell damage stick is stupid. But ow wait thats only half his passive, his other half makes him have 100% crit with 2 items which he can easily have by 20 mins or even less. Also, if im in AA range then im easily with in range of him to take a quick step in my direction and either Q or dash to me. Great just what i wanted! (on most AP mids)

wow this is the worst fucking argument with his windwall i have ever seen. LMFAO. yas players don't even need to think about when or why they should cast his wind wall. Literally just spam E when u see an incoming spell and it blocks it PERIOD. the fact that it starts on top of him makes it IMPOSSIBLE to not block a spell unless your ping is at 500+.

I've always thought since his release that Windwall should start in front of him and not on top so he's actually punished for using it late.

excatly, is should start and end where it currently ends, there should be no starting on him and moving out, it makes it have 0 counter play.

And the BS argument of it has a long CD is retarded, cause yas can 1 run and have it back up soon, or 2 ingage on you now that your spells are on CD.

As an avid Yasuo player, I like this. It feels very justifiable

The amount of bronzes complaining about Yasuo smh

I'll tell you something real quick. Riot balances around Plat-Diamond, therefore if stats don't show him as being strong(47% win-rate), he's not going to get nerfed. So can your bronze asses stop posting, because no one will take you seriously besides some other fellow low-elo players.

I play a lot of Yasuo and I have to say, it depends on the match up. Match ups like Malzahar with his space aids is impossible and by far the worst early game. Same goes Azir . But, in my opinion, he is about as weak of a early game champion as Vayne is.

Romans VI XXIII3 votes

Sad part is vayne doesnt have a weak early game, so ty for proving the OPs point.

She's weak-ish. That was my point. They don't have the best early game, but are in no means weak. Still needs a serious nerf tho.
