With the pathetic state of mid mages, Yasuo being ridiculous, and the absurd buffs to Zed...thanks. I now have an excuse to play and mid, because nothing else can deal with them.

I've still been doing fine with Ahri. I don't think mages are as bad as everyone is saying.

It's perfectly sound. No sense in feeding an assassin and failing to outscale because late game doesn't exist. Just play a bruiser, shut down the assassin and win. This isn't a ground-breaking strategy

anyone above bronze 5 will just lane switch.
You just forfeited your team a mid laner who in most cases is ranged so you can no longer seige towers at all
Your roaming potential is garbage
You have no way to get to a carry now
You sacrifice a ton of damage to do this. The assassin will still eventually get enough damage to kill a carry with a rotation of abilities. You won't
In most cases when you do this you will force an AP laner top. If you don't go AP top then the other team builds armor and auto wins the game

YES! Lane swap! I would love to see a Zed try and 1v1 Mundo, Darius, Riven, Maokai, Gnar, Tahm Kench, Fiora, Garen, Renekton, Jax, Malphite, Hecarim, Aatrox....

Or better yet, try and 2v1 so he can sit under his turret and cry like a bitch.

And if you haven't noticed, just about an AP that can top also happens to be garbage at sieges. There's a reason nobody plays top Lux, Xerath, Syndra, etc. Otherwise they're just jungler food. Talk about ringing the dinner bell...

Pro teams do it all the time, so I don't see why not. You also do realise Darius can pretty much counter a lot of assassin champs at mid.

Or better yet, try and 2v1 so he can sit under his turret and cry like a bitch.

And you get more experience, hence, levels up faster & naturally power spiked a little. Wut u bitchin about

Ryze Vladimir are still valid top mages, as one knows how to lockdown single targets heavily, while the latter is just an annoying bitch.
