Varus HP per level increased from 86 to 89 Base HP lowered from 549 to 499

when will you learn that this low counterplay ult is the ACUTAL PROBLEM that will always make him pick/ban in pro?

did you ever see a pro player dodging varus ult?

QSS is a good argument but you can't have it at 6 min and if you get ganked in pro play and varus instant ult you, it makes you lose the game

Yeah, his ult is kinda sick. It's just such a long root for being nearly guaranteed.

Unless you're like me and constantly try to land it at max range like a scrub :P Then it's pretty balanced.

They are nerfing him for proplay but the issue isn't really with him but the fact that they've nerfed down all of the other ADCs and his ult makes him reliable regardless of his own personal strength. If they changed it, he'd be a completely useless champion.

they've nerfed all adcs yet ezreal kai sa xayah are still picked more than 25% of the time

so, varus is the only broken adc left, that's why he's picked

and why is he broken? because his ult is way too strong holy shit, you can't dodge it and it's an instant death after a gank at lvl 6 why do you think he's so broken in pro

regardless of his own personal strength

so, a spell is broken and will always make a champ broken? unless there are other broken champions to make shadow on him? good shit

He isn't broken. He's just got a really good teamfight ult that makes him useful regardless of his own state of balance in pro play. ._. His ult nor him arent broken

riot's goal is to bring diversity in pro play by definition someone who is pick/ban in pro is broken in pro and needs to be fixed

how do you think you will convince pro players to stop playing varus everytime except nerfing his ult? buffing other adcs? yikes, so instead of bringing varus to 25% presence, we will buff the other adcs that are at 25% presence to become broken

To be fair he has a relatively safe lane phase (sometimes seen as a bully) while also scaling pretty well to be a formidable carry in the late game. Traditional teamcomps can't really beat him unless they run an assassins, and even then, he can shred pretty fast.

But I wouldn't nerf his base stats. Literally any ability in his kit could have been nerfed instead.
