Honestly i love the way the 10 ban was done.

Its great in a both ways that it doesnt make the champ select longer (it makes it shorter actually!) and it gives every player a ban WHILE at the same time handling well the whole "but X Y Z meta champs will have a 100% ban rate!" with the repeated bans which will often happen to fotm champs (so every player gets a say on the ban but the effective bans will probably be like 8 per game), so otps arent as screwed, also rewards you for banning more specific champs that might counter you or your team rather than one whos just "op" atm.

Do you know how else we can fix this? By actually balancing the game. If Lee Sin has a 100% ban rate then that clearly shows that he needs nerfs. It does not show that the system is somehow wrong.

Literally just got nerfed this patch.

Ignorance is bliss.

If you think 5 movespeed and 20/10/0 sec cooldown increase are what is needed to balance Lee Sin, you are laughably out of touch, or a Lee fanboy. remove wardhops, or bring ult ratio down to 150% and increase cooldowns by 20 sec at all ranks instead of 20/10/0. Then we can finally leave Lee on the table without worrying about a hop to a roundhouse kick coming from literally the fog of war, followed up by a QQE for an early game nuke and a late game teamfight decider. He has too much, and everyone knows it. There is a reason he is hated by everyone that doesn't play him.

Lee Sin was the most overpowered champion in the game by a wide margin. His nerfs bought him closer to balanced but they did not go nearly far enough. Lee will never be a balanced champion until he actually loses some of his absurd pre-6 damage, most likely from his Q.

No one cares, his MS nerf is negligible and his playstyle is still obnoxious.

He is still annoying just like Zed/Yasuo even if they have under 50% winrate.

Nah. It shows people don't like facing him. Look at Yas. He was banned more than Lee, but had a winrate under 50%. The last thing he needed was nerfs (until the "tank update" hit, his wr spiked there and now he is getting the nerf he needs). Point being, being op abs being banned aren't directly correlated. Another example, Draven and morde have the highest wr bot lane, but the only adc that draws bans is Lucian. Lol.

Winrate and power are less correlated than banrate and power. People ban Yas and Lee because they are overpowered, people who don't know how to play them properly also play them because they're overpowered which drives their winrate down.

They are so overpowered that they have negative winrates. makes sense.

that it doesnt make the champ select longer (it makes it shorter actually!)

You know what could have achieved this without Riot pulling this obvious panic move?

Shorter ban time. 20s. Ta-fucking-da, now Riot doesnt need to put in some shitty system to cheat and practically go back on their words.

I also like it. Hopefully folks will start to use champion intent and work as a team to remove issues for their comps rather then perma ban what ever is Fotm. I doubt it, but that's my hope.

I wouldn't mind a system where two people and each team can pick or ban at a time depending on their position in the pick order, but this is nice too.

I like it too. In fact, I kind of like how each team is banning blind. It encourages people to ban champions beyond what is simply popular or powerful at the moment.

I actually like how you can't see enemy bans after thinking about it. Bans should exist to cut out champs you don't want to see, whether that is champs you hate laning vs or champs that screw up your team comp. They should not exist for cutting out the top % of champs permanently.
