Playing against Ahri

I've seen a bunch of people complain about Ahri and even though she is very strong at the moment, there are many things that can be done to win or break even in an Ahri lane.

First, when playing against Ahri, it's important to know where her damage comes from.

Ahri's q ability is her main source of damage and avoiding this ability cuts her damage and effectiveness by alot. Although her q ability isn't the hardest skill shot to doge, if she lands a charm on you, she is almost guaranteed to land a full combo. Landing skillshots is the core of Ahri's kit and if you stay clear of her q and e, you will generally be safe.

When laning against Ahri, levels 1-5, stay out of her Q range and go behind minions to avoid her E. As long as you are carefull, everything should be fine.

When Ahri hits level 6, she is much more of a threat because she has new angles to hit you with skill shots and the spots you thought where safe before aren't anymore. When Ahri gets her ultimate, staying out of Q range and behind minions isn't enough as she can easily catch you out with her new mobility.

If she is able to hit you with her W ability after using on charge of her ult, you are in danger and Ahri will be able to dish out alot of damage. Make sure you are surrounded with minions in multiple angles so that she is unable to land a Ult + E on you.

Even though this is all I have to say for now, there are still many other methods you can take to stopping Ahri dead in her tracks.
