With her nerfs after her rework, they made it so she was more mobile while having less damage so she now has to use more spells offensively(usually more R towards opponents) then she had to before. If she gets fed however it doesn't really change her too much from the old Ahri except it means she dominates you even harder for her being allowed to get fed.

Can you site your source on Ahri being highest pick and win rate? When I look it up she's not even top 5 in any ranked tier.

OP is wrong, but she certainly is high up there. For mids, she is 3rd in win rate and she is 1st pick rate. The thing I hate is that she is 3rd for win rate, despite being 24/48 for playerbase average games played at only 68. She is a little too strong in my opinion. She does great damage and is very safe. If you don't want to die as Ahri, you don't die.
