You just que into ranked as whatever role you choose and matchmaking will match you with random players that fill the other roles. You do not pick your champion, summoner spells and masteries in this que, you only pick your role and match up with players of the other roles to be thrown into a draft pick where you will have a tab next to your name that states your role (which ofcourse you could then swap with allies should your team choose to do so). And then you could have bonus IP rewards for the positions most needed at the moment. I'm sure noone cares if their que time is slightly extended for the purpose of finding people that actually play the roles they are filling in (no more 5th pick being forced to support or all five players not knowing how to marksman).

Also probably means support players will have 2 second que times.

i'd like this very much. my major concern is not being able to say to your team mates" hey i think amumu might not be the best jungler when their team is lee leblanc, irelia, corki and janna"

if you do the current team builder you could rig it, get friends, or certain champions would never see play. and on the other hand you might get stuck with the first things people decide to queue into like a teemo adc.

but rather what i would like to see is people can only queue up for the position they want and what happens in draft afterwards happens.
