Then do us all a favor and never complain about "bad support". You have no basis for understanding what a Support does if you never play the role.
i played syndra "support" and I peeled like crazy for my team and won multiple teamfights from scatter the weak. Yes. I fucked up a few times, but I know I saved my adc's life at least 3 times and I saved kassadin many more times.
Edit: go check my gameplay. I think im on replay.gg undoubtedly, you will see several teamfights that scatter the weak won for us because i saved it for disengage.
half the time i get the role i want even when auto-filled, but yeah, support isn't a bad role(my opinion) but some people just dislike it
i dont even get to cs. thats half the damn game. its the worst half, but at least its gameplay.
If half of your gameplay is CS'ing, you probably aren't contributing much. If your "Supporting" consists of standing around looking at the bushes because you can't CS, you might want to practice Supporting to get the hang of it so you can harass, roam, ward, and otherwise do the job you've been assigned.
Players like OP that have this one-dimensional overview of Supporting generally don't find long-term success in the game.
support doesnt do anything that the other roles dont do better. they just do it without cs. give me a break.
From a logical stand, this is far from the truth.
cherges let Supports take CS that doesn't hinder their ADC or the rest of the team (unless CS is taken w/o charges, that's another story). And, of course,
and
, along with Gold generation runes and masteries, solve their gold income problems.
Their concern for farm is removed since they prioritize the important aspects of the game--granting vision, peeling, pushing objectives, and being an asset to their team.
Supports accent the vital reality that this is, in fact, a team-oritented game.
KDA and CS doesn't mean a thing to Supports because their reliance is on team fights, keeping their carries safe, towers/drags, warding, and building items critical to team composition, which are MORE rewarding in the long run.
It's a shame you don't see the bigger picture.
Godspeed.
oh. well i play adc so you can see where im coming from. cant you? adc 2017 lul
