Yasuo wiki says he is suppose to be weak early game, but we all know thats not the case.

He does tho. He's super-dependent on items to get his big power spike, his cooldowns are hella long early game, and he's a melee champion with no escape that needs to push the wave. Poke him to pop his shield and get him too low for an all-in, bait out the Wind Wall, and destroy him with your next ability rotation. Repeat until he backs or dies.
Don't try to outshove him, just let him push and bait in your jungler for an easy gank while you harass him for taking CS. Your goal isn't to beat him 1v1, it's to deny him as much gold as possible so he gets his power spike too late to be relevant.
It depends on how you play and how the enemy plays too. With conq he can be a bitch early if you don’t respect his damage and don’t avoid his poke. But if you can zone him and/or poke him then he becomes way easier to deal with.
I played garen into him a few times and it is a pretty easy matchup. I all in early by slow pushing the wave to start grasp and I let him get close to me before I activate Q for free trade and grasp proc. I tend to do this on garen with the grasp and Q combo, it works very well and I usually get first blood at lvl 2 or even lvl 1 if I am lucky. and I run TP with garen and not ignite, which is even funnier for me when I get first blood without having ignite at all lol. My strategy with Garen against Irelia and Yas is just “beat them so far under early that they can’t win against me late”. People underestimate Garen’s damage with Q max and Grasp (and sheen too if I rushed it and think I don’t need the phage first) so much that I can snowball my lead even more and get my enemy laner super far behind.
I think Kayle also plays well against Irelia and Yas because her R can negate most of their damage output with their combos. And she is really good at chasing/fighting them because she can easily side step Irelia’s stun and Yasuo’s third Q, and her auto attacks with E don’t travel so they won’t get blocked by Yasuo’s wind wall. (Theoretically I think so, I have yet to lane against a yas as Kayle but I imagine the interaction will go the way I am thinking it will)
I added Irelia to this comment because along with Yasuo she is one of those champs that people think has no counters but actually do if people are willing to experiment and learn.
