Did you really want to main a new champ but felt disapointed with thier kit upon release?

I really loved and wanted to main Taliyah from the time riot revealed her, but when she got released and I finally got to play her, I just did not like her anymore.

Her kit just felt way clunky and it took to much co ordination from her skills to do any damage. Plus her CC as a control mage is very situational and hard to use. Making it feel like it is a little unreliable given that she is a control mage.

Anyway, did anyone else get that experience with any new champ releases?

no, I joined the PBE and get to try them out for 1ip and I understand the game well enough to at least know what I'm getting into when I see a new champ.

What does bother me though is when I get a champ for one role but they get rebalanced for another role. Like Diana jungle being balanced to keep her out of or in midlane.

What I mean is you like the champ based on how they look and their them, but once you play them you realize you don't like the kit and hence become disappointed.
