Can Support Gangplank carry me to Plat?

I'm serious.

I was playing around with it in Normals, and it's actually good. Like, really good. Ranged Q poke + slow. procs off his Q for all that delicious gold. R gets him assists all over the map, drag/Baron steals. E for extra AD and movespeed for your carry. W to tank CC ( lol gg Annie/Morg/Thresh/Bard) You can literally build anything on GP - whatever your team needs, and it'll work. If the game gets to late game you'll be another god-like carry the enemy needs to worry about.

So what do you think, G&B? Will Support GP get me to Plat?
