Original Zed was in a much healthier spot than Current Zed.

I'm talking when the power in his kit was mostly E than Q, and his ult placed the Shadow behind his target.

This really forced Zed to commit to his kills, and if you want an escape after the execute then you need to cut back on your damage by saving your W.

This gave Zed a huge risk to reward ratio, which is GOOD. You can choose to have big damage by using your escapes as a form of damage, but after that you are helpless.

He wasn't ridiculously oppressive in lane because his main form of harass was a close range E.

Honestly, just revert all of the changes to Zed, and he'd be totally fine. The biggest problem is the 1500+ range blink on R to give him absolutely ZERO risk in committing to a target balls deep, and making is Q way too oppressive in lane.

Hell no. Old Zed didn't even need deathmark to pop to kill you.

But he had to commit to his kill. He had no escape.

Old Zed was broken numbers wise but solid design wise.

New Zed is broken design wise and kind of OK (although still somewhat overtuned) numbers wise.

I don't ever remember Zed's E being a core in his harrass nor will it ever be since it has no range. Only maybe against Yasuo, and even then Q's better still.

Also back when Zed's shadow appeared behind you. You would INSTANTLY DIE. You had almost Zero reaction time, and Zed was at his peak at that time, being a core pick in Pro play especially. He could pop you in a second sense you wouldn't have to think about w set up, just wreq, w back, and they dead.

IT was a core in his harass back before all of these changes. We didn't have Yasuo in this early season 3 age.

He received cooldown nerfs to E, and shadow would appear where you were instead of behind them.

Sure, you would die really quick. But he had to commit to that kill, he doesn't have any other form of damage or escape, after getting that kill.

That's way better than evaporating a target then teleporting 1500 away.

ok then complain about his instant ult and no cooldown E and W (reduced by spinning on creeps lol)
