Yorick's entire kit breaks and ceases to function if you miss your E, and E is VERY easy to miss.

So here's my feedback:

Yorick's E needs to be SIGNIFICANTLY faster casting, and needs to have a wider hitbox.

If Yorick's E misses (and with it's current cast time + travel speed + small AoE it's ... actually difficult to land) he has no mobility, his ghouls will fuck off and ignore you, your ult will fuck off and ignore you, you won't be able to land your W, and he has no CC. Effectively Yorick's entire kit is burned down to a single Q, which while early game is hella damaging, by mid-late game is simply not going to make you a threat.

Also I should mention because his E doesn't travel in a line it makes champions with gap closers/escape moves actually difficult to hit.

WORSE YET is Ghouls terrible AI has a tendency to jump at the target, run to get in to position, get maybe one auto off, then dance around like little idiots and never get another auto off.

The closest comparison I can think of is Illoai's E which:

A. Travels in a straight line. (Makes it so you can't gap close in to her to dodge it.) B. Comes out near instantly. (You can't walk behind her in the cast time...) C. Doesn't render the entirety of her kit useless if it misses. (Maiden of the- FUCK YOU IMMA RUN IN TO THAT TURRET.)

There are some serious problems with the kit (why in fuck's name does a split push MASSIVE COOLDOWN ultimate get targeted by a turret?!) but this is pretty much the one thing I'd legitimately like to see hotfixed. Yorick is in a very sad state right now, and rather than looking at his numbers (survivability...) I'd rather see his kit actually able to function consistently right now.

I think enemies hit with Q should also be targeted by his ghouls/maiden.

E could take priority with its debuff maybe but the other abilities should be able to be used to direct ghouls as well imho.

Ghouls should also aggro and target champions who attack Yorick immediately and go after them same leash radius as when they would decay when they reach that point they drop aggro again.

And maybe ghouls should have some aoe damage defense because you can summon your ghouls in a teamfight but 1 random Gragas barrel kills them all ¬.¬

this is what i would like to see changed

and maybe some faster casting time on E

I would seriously like his ghouls to either take a full second to die to inhibs/nexus turrets or be prioritized after minions.

Currently you can summon 4 and not one of them will make it more than 100 units towards those turrets. It is pretty silly considering they are built to split and take so long to summon.

also, if there's an enemy minion, and you hit the minion and the enemy with your e, 70% of the time the ghouls will attack that minion...

How about we give it about a week or two before we ask for changes. Get to know the champ better. Learn how to play him.

Otherwise we'll just get another taliyah where everyone thinks she is trash so she gets buffed and then later on a bunch of nerfs.

To be fair he needs a significant weakness to be balanced. If it was easy to hit he would be OP af, which is why people that can't dodge skillshots are freaking out about how OP he is.

So hit the E with that W lock down you got and the fact that it's nearly instant close range. His E may be hard to hit, but the payoff is ginormous. Yorick is decent in his current state and I would rather him not be buffed just to be nerfed.

not sure about his kit breaking.

the maiden will prioritize enemy champions either way, so the ult is fine.

his w is unaffected.

and his shovel whacks still hurt and heal him.

its really only his ghouls hes missing out on in a trade, and only in lane where they have other targets. granted, its a decent portion of his power budget, but i wouldnt go as far as saying most of his kit fails him when he misses his e.

Also his W barely has any range while he has no gapcloser AND it has 2 secs delay while having almost no width AND the best part if it all...wait for it...IT CAN BE DASHED OVER. On a game where 90% of the meta has a dash. Wp riot wp.

I think Yorick is actually really strong. Once someone has the timing down and you can figure out how to hit that E skill shot he can be beastly.

Most Yoricks I'm seeing are building either Triforce or Cleaver combined with Iceborn. They don't seem to be having much trouble catching people.

You could make it point and click ( targeted) , not everything has to be a skillshot ... And I don't see this being broken or frustrating or anything ... I mean his ghouls die to anything so... They might as well do somrthing in their 2 sec lifespan ...

from listening to the whole sound cloud talk they did about yorick that was very much intentional. Hes not a commander of these beasts per say. He summons them and helps him push, but in no way is he supposed to be able to tell them what to do at all times. That being said I dont completely understand why his e is this weird tear drop esq skill shot. From my experience so far it will tend to hit a champion and like 1 or 2 minions which seems to completely confuse the mist walkers and Ill get maybe 1 jumping on the champion and the rest on the minions, that is for sure frustrating since its the only way to actually command the mist walkers..

yeah, i felt that sort of so i agree with you. yorick feels like he's nasus in a lot of ways. teemo can blind him and make him completely worthless for 3 seconds which is plenty long enough to die. his E though doesnt make his kit in my opinion though. i never use it because it's the only ability that builds off of ability power and the cooldown isnt worth the slow. i dont rely on the minions either. i just play him like nasus. his minions and his Q do physical his wall is a non damaging crowd control and his E and R do magical but the R builds off of HP and AD. his passive builds off of AD and HP as well. so therefore you just need to buy attack damage attack speed and health as primary items. cooldown will help his Q and R but his other two abilities are pointless unless used properly. in fact his wall is almost impossible to land on a player who is standing still waiting to run away the moment you attack because of the 2 second delay before activation. i've found greater success in using it to block jungle entrances and to catch players that are actively chasing you down. E basically works like ziggs satchel. he tosses it up and over in a lob.

Lets look at the inherently broken things on him before considering buffs:

  • His ghouls and mini-j4-ult have his old ghoul hitbox (frustrating to play against)
  • He is harder to go oom then Darius immediately after rework.
  • In ranked, which early game champions excel, his feast or famine style is easy to pull off.
  • After a core item such as triforce, he does reliable damage and ability to overwhelm opponents with ghouls + zzrot while having the ability to zone out with his high damage q-sheen aa.

If there is going to eb any buffs to him some of those need to be addressed, atleast the inability to go oom.
