why does Irelia get 200 auto attack range?
not only a point and click Q, but if I root her and run away she can get an auto off because 200 auto attack range. NO other champion gets 200 auto range for free

With the mobility she has right now she for sure doesn't need it.
175 range should be enough.
Wait... Isnt 175 extended melee, and anything above that "ranged"? Why is rakan ranged still then?!
I said this when she first got reworked >_>; It's extremely frustrating when you're a 125 range champion and have an ability that puts you close to them for quick trades then try to walk away and she's autoing you the whole way back to your turret because unsurprisingly 200 auto range is enough to give you room to auto attack someone while they're running without stopping.
I think the literally only reason why she has this is thematics.... They said they want her to live up to her telekinetic blades fantasy and giving her the same range as other melee champs wouldn't feel like she is controlling flying blades with her will, so they gave her more.
Do I think she needs this? No, but this is the only explanation I can come up with why they did it.
Oh. Well, this explains why she's getting two or three autos off on me after I slow her with my Q as Vel'koz after she dashes on top of me.

Because she gets weaker base stats because of it. Nevermind the fact that her champion model is 20% larger than how it was pre-rework so even with 200 range it feels like you have 175.

Most champions in league have more than 200 auto attack range.
