if their team is filled with complete morons

http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2146886260/207008136?tab=builds&participant=8

we won a 4v5 50 min in

they had zero map awareness, zero objective control, they kept getting caught out.. ekko was building who knows what xin didnt get ragelbade till about 45 min in

so yes, if they play like complete idoits... its possible to win a 4v5.

otherwise.. you don't stand a chance.

so as someone who just won a 4v5 today... take it form me... winning a 4v5 doesn't have to do with you playing smart.. it has to do with them playing like idoits.

You should just be allowed to leave a game with an afk penalty free. I've had so many game where my team wouldn't surrender a 4v5 because the 1-7 and 1-10 duo voted no.

Matezoide2 votes

I mean, sure, it is possible.

But in general it is such a hasle that it is better to just surrender and move on to the next game, unless your team is massively ahead by the 20 minutes mark.

depends what you mean by better. If you're sitting at a 50% winrate on average you should take every chance for a win you can get if you want to climb. If you don't care about losing that one game because you are currently in bronze and have a 99% winrate and you know you're going to climb regardless then it doesn't matter.

with 2 magic resist items, xin should be able to 1v4 this team of yours.

well, if your team played just as bad, it would have been a loss, so it is a bit of your team being good, though it does take the other team playing bad also.

we had 4 uncontested dragons, 1 uncontested baron, the 2nd baron we got xin went in alone 1v4. to try to stop us and died before he even got an attack off

yes we had to play well to win.. i had to build a lot more tanky than i normally do on nid becuase we couldnt risk one of us dying.

but even when we DID die.. they didn't even take an objective..

ya, i wasn't disagreeing. the other team did have to be either way behind somehow or play it really badly, and that happens.

True. I was on a voicecall with 2 of my cousins and we manage to do a 3vs5 80% of the game because our naut sup was so tilted. But I noticed how bad was their map awarness and I said to play till the end... we won. We had so much coordination and map awarness... We were behind early game and Our jungler dc'ed for 3 mins. I had to leave my top and help him for 2 camps, then I went bot lane and he went top. We had no jungler, we lost all turrets, we had no drags but somewhat we got strong from picks and we manage to carry in the end. Our teamfight and engage was stronger :)

I had to say, good job and congrats.

Played a 3v5 where we actually ended the game with far more kills than the enemy team. It was a normal so I didn't really care

I've won a 4v5 just because of the stupidity of the enemy bot lane letting me(Koggy bby<3) get fed :D *Press W to win & carry

From my experience it is possible, but your comp either needs massive aoe, sustain (like form a Soraka ), damage, AND can't be all one damage type (all 4 AD or AP champs). But ultimately in the end it is up to the opponents if you can win or not.

I agree. It takes morons in enemy team to win a 4v5. else it's a plain loss, no questions asked

That Bond of Stone Xin tho.

Duke Anax1 votes

I had a Bond of Stone Jhin once (on accident) while I was Soraka. It worked surprisingly well, because it was ridiculously hard to kill either of us.

Duke Anax1 votes

I have to diasagree, I once held a Botlane solo with Alistar, they got CS, but no kill. I was low on CS but I got more Exp, then m jungler got me a doubble kill.

SoI managed to compensate the difference in Botlane by not feeding and the rest of the map went like normal.

This is practically the reason why laneswap strategies work and at the same time the reason why they fail.

You just have to snowball hard to win a 4 vs 5. Take objectives, get an inhib as soon as possible, don't let them catch back up. It's entirely possible even with relatively equally skilled teams if your team gets off to a good start and doesn't let up. You will have a slight exp advantage due to the missing player. It certainly doesn't make up for the missing person, but it does help.

Tbh I would say it's harder to 4 vs 5s in low elo than it is in higher elo (up to low diamond - I can't speak on higher elos than that) because higher elos will actually push their early advantage intelligently and try to end the game. Well, unless you have a smurf. A 4 vs 5 in low elo really isn't a big deal to a smurf. I mean, sure, it does increase your chances of losing, but it's like going from an 80% to a 50% chance of winning. Hell, I even won a 3 vs 5 once in mid silver elo.

I know this is a custom, but every person in this game was trying to win (we had 6 people online, sue me).

If you notice, it's 2v4 and turned out to be a stomp.

Never give up, you occasionally have the chance to outplay and win when horribly outnumbered
