I'm getting sick of being scapegoated by junglers

Yes you read that correctly. IF YOU ARE GOING TO INVADE, it is not my responsibility to bail your ass out. IF THE MINIONS ARE PUSHED UNDER MY TOWER I CANNOT HELP YOU. If I ping the enemy mid laner is coming, THEN EITHER GET OUT OR DON'T CRY TO ME ABOUT NOT COMING, I WOULD LOSE OUT ON FARM, ARRIVE LATE, AND LIKELY DIE AS WELL. I CAN BARELY WARD FOR MYSELF, DON'T EXPECT ME TO DROP ONE AT YOUR RAPTOR BRUSH BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T BUY A PINK. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ELSE'S FAULT IF YOU TUNNEL AND OVERCOMMIT WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE VISION.

I get the feeling this is more a thing with people who don't actually main/understand the more complex nuances of jungling and think you can just sit in jungler, farm for 20 minutes, show up for the odd gank/dragon and the other team will let you do it "would like a complimentary tower and blue buff there? Don't worry I won't stop you". Seriously, if you aren't going to respect your enemy let alone your teammates, and severely underestimate the amount of strategy jungling involves, don't you dare blame your mistakes on me.

At the same time, though, it's typically the jungler that gets this hate from his team. I play a lot of jungle myself, and typically if someone overcommits to a fight and I'm somewhat nearby, they will spam ping me even if it was a 1v5 or i had literally 1 HP. The jungle is a highly strategic role - probably the most strategy in the game. You're typically trying to be your team's shotcaller, babysit everybody, make the right objective calls, give buffs, gank lanes, get farm for yourself, and, if the enemy jungler has ganked a lane twice in 5 minutes and the laner died both times, even if you were on the opposite side of the map when it happened, it's somehow your fault for not counterganking. You're getting tired of being blamed for the jungler's mistakes, and the junglers are getting tired of being blamed for their laners' mistakes. It happens. It's not cool, but it happens. There's not really much of anything you can do about it. They probably only read you the riot act when they mess up and you don't do anything about it because they expect you to do the same thing to them. I play both the jungle and the lanes, and I have been there, done that on both of these. It's been a while, but I have. And I'm pretty sure everyone has. It's all a part of the mindset. Just know that, while they're spam pinging ?'s at you for not saving them, they're not looking at their mistake and they aren't improving. Meanwhile, you're improving by recognizing that you can't do anything.

Also, I've turned situations that really shouldn't have turned out well for us because one of my allies showed up, and it really shouldn't have been good even with them showing up, and won. Learning to recognize situations when you can and can't help is good, but you at least moving in that direction and trying something if you know you can do it safely will at least keep them from being babies too much. Move, even if you won't get there in time, so that way they can't complain because you at least tried. It'll help them to not tilt and possibly even prevent them from trolling/inting. There's a lot of babysitting in League, and this is part of it. I'm not saying they're right to complain at you or that you did anything wrong by not helping them - you recognized that they were dead either way and you probably wouldn't get anything out of it - but having a teammate troll/int/afk/tilt is worse than you missing a few farm.

You are right, typically the junglers and supports get a lot of shit, but just as I wouldn't stand for someone else giving another player shit for their own mistakes, I won't stand for people blaming me for theirs.

Jungler "It's not my job to win your lane for you"

When all I asked for was a gank. What exactly IS a jungler's job then? When you have someone that won't gank for ANYONE, yet when he comes out the jungle and jumps on someone expects all near by lanes to roam and collapse. I don't get it? Why do junglers feel their role is faultless. Like by default playing jungle means you can make any decision and do anything and it's fine because I'm the jungler

Smart junglers do have ganking strategies. Most junglers aren't smart. I play jungle a decent amount, and I'd say I'm pretty smart with it, and I can say that no, it isn't the jungler's job to win your lane for you. Here's a little rant by ScrapComputer talking about the jungler's job and why it isn't to win your lane, the origin of the jungle, and why it's YOUR fault that you lost your lane, NOT your jungler's: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC5qHBnnw4I

He talks about strategy, how you can only be in one place at once, and how smart junglers will have strategies for who to gank, when, and why. Are all, or even most, junglers smart? No, but imagine you're Riven top lane vs a Fiora. Fiora naturally counters you if you don't bait out her W before you combo. So, you can't lock her down and you fell a bit behind taking a stupid early fight. She snowballs as hard as you do, and you offer very little damage when behind. As such, if I gank that Fiora, I'm probably essentially 1v1ing her. Not to mention that, even if you do offer enough damage, she can easily 2v1 when ahead (I play Fiora, I've done this). If she has ultimate and even has 1-2 kills ahead of you, all that going top to gank her will only result in giving her another 2 kills.

You're speaking from the mind set of a jungler that is playing to win. I'm talking about When your jungler refuses, makes the choice, not to gank

If you can't comprehend what I'm saying that's not my problem but i'm not gonna go out of my way to pull someone out a fire if they wanna burn to death.

Literally. Your response has fucking nothing to do with the point I conveyed. Mate check yourself.

My response has everything to do with the point you conveyed. As he said in the video, the jungler can literally sit there with one hand down his pants for the first 20 minutes and nobody can tell him otherwise. The sole purpose of the jungle and the role of the jungler existing is gold and experience allocation, so top lane, being one of the potentially most gold and exp reliant roles in the game, and mid lane, who is exactly the same, can get solo gold and experience. To say that the jungler's sole job is to gank lanes is wrong, their only inherent job for choosing that role is to farm the jungle so that top and mid can have solo gold and experience. That is why the jungle was created, that is why it exists, and that is why your entire comment is invalid.

Junglers have the right to troll if they want

Except that it isn't trolling. The jungler's job is to farm the jungle. As long as they're doing that, you can't say they're trolling or doing anything wrong at all. Trolling would be running down mid every time they respawn until they died. Farming the jungle would be doing their job. That is why the jungle exists and why the role exists, so that the more gold and exp-reliant top and mid lane don't have to share their lanes and gold/exp with someone else.

Jungle is a roaming farmer. They go where they are needed, not where they are wanted.

If your jungle invades without wards or knowing where the enemy is, then, yes, your jungle is BAD!

But expecting them to rush over and offer you assistance whenever you're a little behind or even very behind is unrealistic. A gank is almost worthless unless it secures an objective.

Farm offers more gold and exp than killing a champion. So, if your jungle is farming for several minutes at a time, it means they are preparing to do something amazing for the team and if you could just play it safe in lane rather than try and kill the enemy who is ahead just to end up dying to them again, that would be super of you.
