Stop saying jhin is an immobile adc.

He literally gets a MASSIVE ms boost every critical strike, and he gets a free crit every fourth shot. Lets not pretend hes even on the same level as varus or kog'maw. He has more range than both AND more mobility, AND CC? Hmmm, I really wonder why his winrate is so god damn high.

Last I checked, MS increases weren't registered as mobility for a lot of people.

Right so Singed, Rammus, Udyr, Zilean and Hecarim are immobile champions right?

Ralanr6 votes

Only Hec can jump through walls. Wall hopping is common with mobility.

You can't count a champions ult as to whether they are mobile or not lmfao. A jump on a 60 second cooldown doesn't make a champion go from immobile to mobile, especially when that's not hecarims main form of chasing / escaping.

So, you're saying that Ahri, Kassadin, Diana and Akali are immobile champions since they rely on their ultimates for mobility?

Pfft.

Diana, Akali and Kassadin are immobile though. That's the main reason they see 0 play in pro play. Their immobility gets them camped early in lane and put really far behind. As for Ahri she has a move speed buff on her Q so no she isn't immobile.

...

What?

DrCyanide3 votes

... Kassadin has a pretty steady play rate in the EU LCS. Diana and Akali aren't played because they're far more snowball reliant and can only go in to fights, but even then Splice played Akali in one of their last games and were about to win the game too.

Exactly they can only go in. It's like saying Nocturne is a mobile champion. He has a targeted gap closer on his ult. The exact same as Diana and Akali.

DrCyanide1 votes

Targeted gap closer that can only go in isn't bad on it's own (Elise Irelia Maokai are in similar boats), it's the snowball reliance that's the killer as far as the LCS is concerned.

Nocturne is in the same category as TwistedFate Taliyah Shen RekSai etc. Near global mobility that is prioritized for that moment when someone overextends or you want to collapse on them. I suspect Nocturne's not picked because of his generally squishy nature and falling off in team-fights against coordinated enemies.

Champions that can dash multiple times over the course of 5 seconds shouldn't be considered immobile. That's what describes Akali Diana Kassadin , and that's why no one took you serious on the mobility argument.

Yeah but people are commenting saying that it doesn't matter if a champion has a gap closer for a ult it's still a gap closer and that makes them mobile. So that basically means champions like Warwick Malphite Urgot Sion Ryze Fiddlesticks are all considered mobile champions because their ult in some form is used as a gap closer.

"Diana, Akali and Kassadin are immobile though."

Are we talking about the same game or did some Chinese rip off copy even their names now?

Diana and Akali have targetted gap closers on their ulti's. The exact same as Nocturne. SO is nocturne a mobile champion to you now or what?

Astôlfo1 votes

Yes except Nocturne's ult has a 150/125/100 second cooldown. While Diana's ult has a 25/20/15 second cooldown that resets to 0 if used on a target afflicted with her Q status. And Akali's ult has a recharge system of 30/22.5/15 seconds with like a 2/1.5/1 second cooldown between uses?

Cooldowns don't matter. That's like saying AurelionSol E gap closer doesn't count as a gap closer because it's on a 1 minute cooldown. Mobility is mobility. So if Diana and Akalis targeted gap closers count as mobility then so does nocturne ult.

Astôlfo1 votes

Uh yeah except 1 minute is still fairly short.

Okay so if it's his high cooldown that makes you say it doesn't count. Then what aboutWarwick, he has a blink to a champion with his ult on a 70 second cooldown at max rank. Is warwick a mobile champion too now?

Warmanreaper1 votes

Kassadin doesn't rely on his ulti.. lol tf

Buff Jax please4 votes

Yeah Udyr is immobile.

Ralanr1 votes

Bravo good sir. I can't help but laugh here.

Astôlfo4 votes

He is incredibly immobile.

For him to get said MS buff, he has to either hit a crit or land his W root. If you get in his face, sure, he might crit you. But guess what? He should already be dead by that point.

And his W cast time means he'll never reliably be able to auto-W without dying first.

Penns3 votes

"In his face" = 750 range with item 3094

Astôlfo1 votes

Which he has to charge up in the first place by running around. Jhin autos RFC range increase, MS passive proc enemy champ uses gapcloser kills Jhin ???

Penns2 votes

More like Jhin autos RFC range increase Jhin hits W enemy dies lul

Astôlfo1 votes

If you can't manage to dodge his W without literally any form of CC on you, you're terrible and deserve to die.

Penns2 votes

So you never get hit by skillshots? lel

Astôlfo1 votes

??? Not by an incredibly thin one that's literally that clearly pre-casted with the indicator line shown like for a full second before it fires.

Penns3 votes

Ive seen enough people get caught by a Jhin snare without cc on them and Im pretty sure you have too.

Astôlfo4 votes

Then they are just bad and deserved it.

Penns1 votes

Youre bronze 4 tho Kappa

redniwediS3 votes

I do hope you realize that calling him bronze 4 right now is more of an insult toward yourself. If you're going to call someone on their rank instead of provide a real argument at least make sure you're not wrong.

It's a thin snare with a short but clearly telegraphed animation. If you get hit by it you deserved it.

Penns6 votes

https://i.gyazo.com/414afa6f03d30aeb130bec2f01c9b879.gif Better? My argument is dont call people bad when youre Bronze 4 lel.

redniwediS3 votes

Not really sure what that picture is supposed to mean. If you run straight away from the skillshot you deserve to get hit by it. Slow reaction times are punished.

redniwediS5 votes

Well, by his own argument he deserved to get hit by that one.

Astôlfo3 votes

It's amazing how bad you are at reading. Or just using your eyes. I had been hit by CC almost directly before and had been slowed or something as well and was just getting away as Jhin immediately W'd after. Also, I am bad, what of it? Doesn't make others any less worse for being hit by it.

Penns2 votes

You used qss before so you werent slowed. Im not trying to call you bad but you said you never get hit by such a thin skillshot.

Warmanreaper2 votes

Notice how she didn't sidestep.. you prove his point.. You just made your self look like an idiot.

Penns4 votes

Notice the name in the gif? xd

DrCyanide2 votes

I'm also noticing the QSS Active, which I'm guessing means he had a form of CC on him just before the gif starts.

EndlessSorcerer3 votes

You realize that the player in the GIF is nep2une, right?

The same person who said that anyone getting hit by Jhin's W are just bad and deserved it.

Astôlfo2 votes

Yeah and? I am bad therefore I got hit by it. What's your point?

Warmanreaper2 votes

You're EU tho Kappa Kappa

Penns1 votes

EUW > NA :]

Warmanreaper1 votes

That's not what the crossworld lcs said 3 years in a row cough we beat EU all 3 years cough

WoonStruck1 votes

Right, diamond, master, and professional players are all bad and deserve it.

The large majority of the time, they use his snare without any prior CC, outside of maybe a slow via his trap.

The problem with bronze arguments right here...

Astôlfo2 votes

Uh if they can't dodge something like Jhin's W with literally no CC or any other impeding factor, they deserve it. Nice fail.

WoonStruck1 votes

Gee, you'd think Nid would be a worse pick if it was literally impossible to hit her Q, which is about the size of Jhin's snare.

Gee, you'd think Jhin would be a worse pick in professional if his snare was so unreliable.

You're bad at making arguments, FYI. Go troll somewhere else.

Astôlfo2 votes

And you're a hypocrite. The irony is delicious. Go whine and cry somewhere else.

Or at least try to have correct points next time lmao
