Coming back after 6 months... Developer Favouritism is still destroying the game...

Please explain to me why Riot still think its alright to only make half the champions in their roster viable and promote AD's as the best champions in the game. They still have better items then AP champions have and they still do not have to make any meaningful choices when they get stats. (The redesign of from an original tank item to an ADC one, with added AD was proof of that). It is so ridiculous because this game could be perfectly popular if Riot stopped playing favourites with their champions, stopping raising damage through the roof so you can one/two/three shot on most AD combos and instead focused on creating meaningful gameplay.

Why is Riot so intent on destroying their own game, reworking champions that have dedicated mains just because "they arn't played that much" and trying to turn League into a top down version of Overwatch rather then sticking to their core gameplay that MADE their game so popular in the first place.

I took a break from League, hoping it would be better when I came back and its not, power creep continues in favour of newer champions, mobility has reached ridiculous extremes and this game has just got worse and worse. It is really sad to see a game that I really enjoyed get its head stuck so far up its own ass and choking on its own hype.

All League now, is about Riot's Esport scene (which I don't watch. I don't think playing video games for a living should be an aspirational career move and I'd be pretty embarrassed if I did that for a living.) and nothing else. The actual players that made this game so popular and gave Riot so much power are leaving the game in droves over this obsession with making the game less DOTA (what the game was based on) and more "Street Fighter" and yet Riot continues to arrogantly look the other way.
