Isn't this supposed to be the most diverse meta in terms of champion picks?
Edit: I should have specified that I see these champs in picks and bans 90% of the time not necessarily in game.
Edit2 : What's with all the random downvotes? is this a trend as well? You know what I'm telling you is true and you do see most of these champs perma banned or picked in every game.

NoMonku3 votesSo you are upset for people picking higher tier champions (besides Amumu maybe) because they are good? It is better overall, more champions are being picked overall, but there are still a core group that will always be superior to others. Also you should expect champions that are easier to use to be played more often I would think.
KayVaugn2 votesHonestly don't see amumu or kat much, (Kat's banned in like 90% of bronze games) I also haven't been seeing Leona much. Other than that you're pretty spot on except in games where I'm banning. in which case the other team will never see sej or hecarim.

So you never see Gragas and Sejunani perma banned or picked? That's what I'm talking about. Most of these champions are either picked or banned, you don't have to see them in game but you see them in champ select most of the time in general.

You should play more drafts then and you will understand the boredom of seeing the same champs being picked/banned every single game.
