It's hilarious that people on this board are upset about "being crowded out" by rengar threads

The irony is tearing me apart. I can't honestly stop cringing at this.

You people are guilty of the same exact thing. For the longest time, and still now tbh, you couldn't say anything bad about tanks or mages even when we would be in the middle of a tank or mage meta. Any opinion to the contrary would be voted away and sent to the abyss. And see, I wouldn't mind that but many of us who weren't so biased and more open minded blamed the vote system and current boards setup for this and we'd get rejected and told we were wrong by the very same people.

Now someone else is doing the exact thing and you don't like it? Boo fucking hoo, grow the fuck up. This board is free and available for any and all league players to use. It is not "yours" in the first place nor is it your place to decide when a hive mind is fair or unfair. Let's be honest, if this was about a tank instead of an assassin, you people wouldn't say a fucking thing.

i complain about tanks and mages all the time, fuck both groups

it makes me mad when tanks and mages get to have everything necessary to do their job, and then also get tools that they don't need just so they can outcompete with champs who have that as their niche

Poppy being a tank with bruiser damage Galio doing absolutely everything, Orianna being RELENTLESSLY lauded even though now that she's actually meta outside of carrying worlds almost no other mid laner is worth picking, etc.

both classes can get neutered for all i care

That's fine and I tend to agree but this isn't really about where you actually stand on the issues. It's about the hypocritical nature of the posters on this board. It's all fun and games until those other guys do it!

You still can't say anything about ahri. The problem with your argument as that it is completely unfair to be crowded out by a larger community. I read a thread that said /rengarmains was just telling people to upvote threads and their community is larger than that of the boards. Its similar to how political machines would work in the 1800s where a larger group just crowds out a smaller one. If it wasn't fair then how is this fair?

The league boards are a very small fraction of the community. I highly doubt that most people would agree with rengarmains.

If you agree that getting one topic dominating the boards isn't good, why is your conclusion "grow up?" Sure, you can be mad at them for being hypocritical, but sounds like the conclusion should be "you do this too, so stop doing it" instead. And honestly that's the message I got from that post.

It's "grow up" because it's a childish mentality of "he's doing it too and I don't like it when he does it!"

They should still get mad tho. The conclusion from that should be to not only push against that kind of behavior but to also fix their own behavior. Grow up isn't the right phrase tbh. Something more along the lines of take a look in the mirror while you're at it.

I don't see a problem with some threads getting more attention than others. I mean if you are looking for a specific concept, you can always use the search bar. The first thing i do every-time I log-in on here is search up talon, because those are the threads I want to read.

That's a problem. If everyone only comes to discuss their preferred narrow focus you will end up with circlejerks. Focusing on one champion really skews your perspective on balance.

I mean there's a difference between being narrow minded and choosing to only discuss things that you like or concepts that you have experience with. On this forum there are many balance posts about things or champions that I don't care about, and I may agree or disagree with some of them, but I only choose to participate in discussions that are about the champions I like and have experience on. I don't think there is anything wrong with only discussing what you want to discuss on here.
