Its been a long time since a single champion was not bound to 1 or 2 lanes. I've seen stuff everywhere, not just shakes up in bot. This honestly makes me so happy, it makes me feels like i can play anything anywhere again, without being smashed by meta champs of that role

OtterlyLost2 votesAlmost all other champions besides marksmen could always go to multiple roles. Most bruisers could go jungle, top, or mid. Mages could go support, too, or mid. Tanks could go support, too, or jungle. The only thing this did was kill an entire class of champions because riot refuses to give them lane diversity.

Kindred ofc was designed to jng, and Graves with the rework aswell but I'm not sure to call him a marksmen since imo his playstyle looks more like a melee.
Corky aswell was reworked to be a midlaner but there's not way Ezreal was designed to be midlane and he was only good abusing Runeclaw to have waveclear, mid Ez is viable but is an off role that has a really low playrate that I can't even find data on Lolalytics.

As someone else pointed out, vayne is not and never has been designed for top lane. She was a duelist marksmen who was always intended for bot lane.
Teemo is trash. They purposefully keep him awful because he has a toxic kit.
Quinn was reworked and was actually intended for the mid lane. They dont even consider her the same as other marksmen anymore.
Graves is in the same boat and kindred is honestly trash.
Corki was reworked and after the rework he was able to go mid; it wasnt the intention by riot but they ran with it. And ezreal is a cockroach who has worked in every role at some point because he has a multitude of versatile builds. His current iteration does not go mid though.
All you did was prove that riot can make marksmen fit other lanes if they actually stop being lazy and put effort into it.
And there are plenty of melee champions that rely on AAs as their main source of damage. Jax, Yi, Tryndamere, Xin. They all heavily rely on their AAs or some form of empowered AAs and they all work fine in other lanes.
