Pantheon is the best example of a high skill cap champion we have now
And the only one who doesn't reach that skill cap by monkeying on you with mind melting mobility or remembering the right sequence of button presses
There's huge moment-to-moment decision making and legitimate trade offs for the choices you make that can win or lose you a fight if you pick wrong, even if you have otherwise played correctly mechanically. He does NOT have options for every situation and he does not have so much agency that he can potentially turn around any bad encounter like many of the recent designs are able to.
Comparing this to things like akali, irelia, Camille, azir, and a handful of other older designs that must not be named, Pantheon legitimately feels like a massive step up in terms of design and should IMO be the new standard for what a skill cap should look like.
All I really feel like he needs now are usability changes; I don't even think he needs flat number buffs at the moment.
Not even to mention that he's the only new diver design who doesn't arbitrarily obliterate tanks when it's not his job to. Pantheon gets an A+ from me.
