People in bronze - gold do not ward at all. And need some sort of exterior incentive other than knowledge of the game.

ur shit kid
People in silver ward some and people in gold actually ward a pretty good amount. Although a lot of their wards are...interestingly placed that don't seem particularly useful.
I have no idea what my MMR is (unranked) but I keep seeing people put wards in the middle of lane, or in their vert-lane tri while T1 is up, etc. I'm not amazing at wards myself, but some of these are... weird.
On that note, though, is it reasonable to ward the jungle entrances between enemy T1/T2 mid while you're pushing to get a few seconds more warning? (w/Sightstone)
The ward in the middle of midlane is simply a "so we have constant vision incase we need to snipe." sort of thing. And yes, warding jungle entrances of the enemy jungle are very valid ideas. Aka if your midlane syndra, say you're pushed up. Take a pinkward to enemy jungles redbuff bush and place it. Then get a regular ward and have it on blue buff side 24/7. Ganks will be hard to land against you.

When i play ranked on my Dia account, you rarely have a ward / vision problem. given its always a push and pull battle with the enemy for vision... But when i played on my smurf this season starting in bronze now in gold Vision was nearly the problem about 40% of the time. I'm saying that ~40% of my games on my smurf were lost because of vision, not because of "hurr durr bad bronze plays" given there were those as well.
A large amount of players need to learn how to get vision of the map. Its like playing a game of chess without seeing your opponents pieces.
Stereotypes, stereotypes everywhere. But really I don't see much harm in it.

Just because its a stereotype doesn't mean it cant be true.
I usually place/buy a good amount of wards, sure, sometimes I forget to place them and sell them, but I'm unranked, what can u do.
I highly doubt it'll make people ward more or more effectively.
I've seen plenty of ranked games where I'm warding more than the support.

no, but it cant hurt now can it?
Because I want people to look up profiles post-game (or even somehow pre-game) and harassing each other. Also, that stat is pointless because shorter games would hurt the average while longer games would make the average look unusually high.
then it could be average wards placed per 20min?
Im just trying to give people an incentive to ward at lower elo's
A midlane ward can be very good if you are in communication with your lane partner, or theyre working well with you. It can help you pre-zone them for attacks outside their vision range. It isnt always necessary tho
A stat for how often you ward wouldnt be good, but a stat for how often your ward "sees" enemies could be good; HOWEVER, it could lead to pointless midlane warding.
im diamond and can't remember the last time i bought a green ward
h9ers gonna h9

even diamonds hardly ward. broken yellow trinket has gotten this toxic mind set of "sit at turret and pretend nothing exists besides this CS infront of me" needs to go away.
