Lee sin mains "lee was gutted, rito why you destroy my champ" VS reality

Lee sin is still an extremely OP jungler, sporting his 7th year as a top meta pick.

Recently he was "gutted" when they lowered his damage to a "reasonable" amount

Dragon's Rage (R): Damage decreased to 150/300/450 from 200/400/600

However you have to remember the 200% AD scaling, which still makes the ult a point and click nuke that also has a knockback and up, not to mention %current health dmg.

"but w8, look at his winrate/playrate"

ok.

http://champion.gg/champion/LeeSin/Jungle

So we can see he has at least a 52% win rate til 35 minutes, which is the time when most games have already ended.

Secondly the winrate by games played is extremely high 53% across the board.

And lastly, hes at pick 1 (as always, i dont think there has ever been a time when he wasnt the most popular pick since his release)

Lee sin is still the annoying LCS champ we have always known. Sadly due to "community backlash" he will never actually get nerfed. LeeSin

on the other hand, runescape on twitch has 20,000 views, could be the next LOL

There was absolutely zero group outrage claiming "Lee Sin was gutted". You're just making up bullshit to ride the Lee Sin QQ circlejerk

I've posted this before and I'll post it again.

"Wards cost money when Lee Sin was introduced to the game. Ward hoping was designed to be a big play with big risk. The introduction of free ward items was a huge buff to Lee Sin that's never been addressed.

Make him only able to ward hop to Control Wards. Make him spend 75g every time he wants to ward hop. It still allows the "LCS BIG PLAYZ" but stops people from spamming wards and jumping everywhere."

When is riot going to address this huge sleeper buff he get years ago and actually do something about it?

Not true, I believe it was in season 5 when Lee Sin was not meta at all and overall just bad.

We clearly see that he has a 49.3% winrate and that you are trying to bullshit us.

Secondly the winrate by games played is extremely high 53% across the board.

Not true as it goes down to 51.4% for 201 games but we all know that champion.gg data is shit for these things as the charts just don't make sense. Lee Sin's winrate goes from 45% to 54% which is just fine.

And lastly, hes at pick 1 (as always, i dont think there has ever been a time when he wasnt the most popular pick since his release)

So you joined in season 6? Glad that League is still growing, welcome to the community!

Oh and don't even try to call me a desperate Lee Sin main, I can't play him for shit so just stop.

what do you mean the annoying lcs champ? lee isn't nerfed because he is balanced until you arrive at high elo where lee sin mains know how to play the game

he has 55% win rate in master with 3k games played by months (can go up to 4k) and will never be nerfed because some plebs don't know how to use their champion correctly and because riot doesn't balance the game around high elo

I think I missed the part where people were complaining about him being gutted...

I would spend time debating this with you, but honestly, you have already closed your mind to reason.

GREGOR GYSI down there basically laid out all the points you should consider.

Lee is decent. He's played so much because he's a flashy playmaker who feels rewarding to play. His winrate is mediocre at best, which fits a high playrate.

In addition to all this, no one has complained about him being gutted that I've seen.

Bandolier3/19/2017, 10:23:12 PM3 votes

I don't think anyone complained about Lee Sin being gutted.

"7th year as a top meta pick" - lee sin has been garbage tier ever since they overnerfed him in s3 for being an OP toplaner

Lee is definitely above viable. Absurdly, he is still mad weak compared to what he once was. Look at his patch notes. Since like season 3 all he's seen is nerfs. Lol. Minus one change to his ult.

Dominick Destine3/20/2017, 1:47:14 PM2 votes

Lee is brokenly overpowered and faceroll easy to play.

Only Yasuo is easier.

Jhin was the most popular champion in the game during the lethality buffs. He had a ~52% pick rate while maintaining around a 54% win rate.
