An 8th inventory slot

Can we please have an 8th inventory slot just for s? I think it would really encourage players to ward. Right now we have 7 inventory slots, 1 for trinket, and 6 for all other items. I think we should add one just for wards only. That way people would actually bother to buy them. I find that the only time dragon is warded is when I am support. Last game, their top mid and jungle went bot constantly and I asked our team to help me ward, because the max number of wards you can put is 4. I would buy 2 wards every back, and guess how many wards were on the map? 2-3.

........Riot did that already with trinkets.

The reason why nobody wants to buy wards wasn't even about the number of available slots, it's their stingyness & stubbornness of not wanting to purchase ANY wards at all.

I mean, come on. I had a game about 2 or 3 months ago, and as far as I can remember, I got teamed with a Diamond Ahri feeding off first blood from a jungle gank, and her excuse was:

Ahri : Hey J4, could u fking come gank my lane already? That enemy Vi kept camping me, and no, I did not have any $$ to purchase any wards.

Says an Ahri with 2 & 3 ....

Upgrade your trinket to have 2 green wards or 1 pink. Don't need even more slots just for wards.

A lot of champions really benefit from scrying orb (ADCs, Xerath, Nocturne).

Also it's annoying when you're full build with an upgraded trinket and you don't have inventory space to drop a pink ward in the late game. Sucks not being able to use pink wards because you're full build.

That is the sacrifice you make. Just like how some people give up boots for a stronger 6th item. Doesn't mean we should have a special boots item slot.

I don't think it's really comparable to say having a pink ward vs. having a banshees veil is the same as choosing between boots and a xephyr. I agree that scrying orb is a choice/decision over the stealth ward trinket, but I don't think there's a person alive who thinks the pink ward trinket is a viable option. And it won't be unless they decide to let us have 2 pinks out which will never happen.

Pink ward trinket is very viable against invis comps. Maybe not at the pro level, but it helps to always have pink wards.

Tell my teams that. There's a fifty-fifty chance my support next game will not have any of those. If we had an inventory slot for NOTHING but wards, then maybe people will actually make use of it.
