Sell me your main role
With positional rank coming up, i'm unsure what role I want to main this season. I tend to play every role in the game, but that's not going to be an efficient way to climb next season.

Dude you wanna play ADC
You throw 3 autos in a fight and then you can just sit back and relax. X champ touched you and you instantly died
You can play lane perfectly, get +10cs on your laner, then get ganked -and again, sit back and relax.
No resist/hp items increase your damage substantially. If you want to survive you become a useless blob of hp.
Mechanical skill is very rewarding. If you kite well, the enemy has to use a dash to 2shot you.
Very good autofilled supports will make you 1v2 the lane and then get mad at your cs numbers, great motivation.
Feels like a classic movie, always black and white.
Play support:
An adc who runs away from a Rakan heal every time
A top who wont fight when you're spam pinging them and your soraka ult
Get oneshot because your mid decided to go 0/5 against Zed while you're Sona and pop like a bubble
Actually, you don't have to have a main role. If you 100% main Fill you'll level all of your roles more quickly!
So, main Fill! -Win more points -Lose less points. -Team will be less likely to have someone filled into a role they know nothing about at all. -You get to have fun playing a wide variety of champions.
Play top:
1.) Play as the widest diversity of champions from derpy tanks to 1337 360 noscope fighters... all of whom are cancerous
2.) Learn to 1v2 in a way that's fun... by learning how to tell the guy camping you to eat your rock hard kda, outplaying them with mechanical skill and farm advantage
3.) not worry about the outcome of the game because you will never contribute to it or take from it, you can win lane lose game or lose lane win game in top... no matter how well you play, because your remoteness as a lane means you're basically just guarding the towers from your laner deadlocked in a perma splitpush or you're both going to just be derpy frontliners with no real thought process required as you just cc people and absorb damage
play support
Are you a masochist? Do you like getting blamed for others mistakes and never getting to hear "good job" or "thank you"? Then boy do i have something for you! JUNGLE!
Play Raka, max E, build AP, watch people get nuked without them realizing it.
Play ADC
Play jungler
Play top:
But, the peace and quiet are really nice. Just you and your dance partner sometimes for a good 5-10 minutes. I do recommend it.
It will be a fine way to climb if you win often because your splashing bonus will be greater because you are are using fill. Which means every game you gain bonus LP
just go support
play Sona, Janna, Blitzcrank, Thresh, Soraka, and one of the best Rakan
Let me tell you something, League of Legends is a team game. Now, there is only one role which focuses in on that more than any other and its support. Top is an island, mid is try hard, and adc is a glory seeker. Jungle can help the team too, but more often than not jungle falls into one of the above.
Support is honestly the role that wins games. You know those awesome penta kill moments we all love? Wouldn't happen without the support doing support things. That awesome come back after a horrible early game? Yep, support again.
Also, support is a jack of all trades. Take me for one. Team needs a tank? Thresh, Braun, Blitz, Ornn. Team needs more AP? Karma, Vel, Xerath, Brand, Lulu. Team needs more AD? Pyke. Need more pressure mid or top? Bard, Pyke, Blitz, Rakan.
Honestly, support really is under sold..you can do anything the other lanes do and do it while getting your whole team ahead.
Play jungle.
