With mana being added to Morello + the huge chunk of ap + the 20% CDR and grevious wounds oh and the MANA restore on kill or assist? lets not forget that he already builds tanky with seraphs/frozen heart/ROA.

Now instead of having a non-stop casting period, he can only cast 5 spells.

I can still get at least 10 spells off during the passive. Maybe 15. 20 if I have max CDR. Sure its different from the way he was before his rework, but he still does a lot of damage and spam casts spells.

They litterally changed his passive to max 5 spells now.
Sariat11 votesI play Ryze all the time. If you're talking about changes on the PBE that have not transferred to the regular client, then I have no idea. But I do know that when I played Ryze today on the regular client: I stacked up the passive, then went ham on spellcasting for the next 5 seconds.

Unless he synergieses well with one of the hextech items, the rework will most likely hurt him as he looses out 400 mana on roa - though it also costs less so probably rather even
