Any lockdown / anti assassin champions I can play?

It's getting a bit irritating having all these lockdown mages get reworked or nerfed. So I'm in progress of looking for another one. Any ideas?

For mid, Lissandra and Malzahar come to mind first. Against AP, Galio is decent.

As a support, just about any support works. Janna is probably one of the best with instant disengage + heal ult if needed. Karma is really strong right now in general. Thresh with his Flay and Alistar in general. So on and so forth.

And then with lockdown (which implies heavy CC), the anti assassin part comes inherently with that.

Lockdown is more ridiculous than burst imo. A single champion being able to prevent someone from doing anything and allowing an entire team to beat on him is more cancerous than assassin.

While I'm inclined to agree with you as a Diana main, assassins prevent someone from doing anything, because they're gone.

Assassins can't prevent literally eveyone from doing anything, and can't keep you cc'ed 40-80% of them time nonstop. Many of these "lockdown mages" also have tons of damage anyway, sooo.

Malzahar Ryze Annie Azir Galio are all still really good against assassins. most of these have point and click or easy to hit ults that will lock down an assasin.

While Zyra is a bit too squishy for my taste, I think Lissandra is going to serve my purposes of tilting every Yasuo and hypermobile champion players off the face of the earth witht that emote spam. Thanks.

I mean, Zyra builds item 3151 and item 3116 usually, so she gets some health.

NO DONT WORRY MAN its fucking funny how every yasuo main has to do their badge after getting a kill
