Huh, tryharding actually makes you perform worse.

I noticed this recently, when I tryhard as in forcing myself to think or whatever, I tend to perform a lot worse because of said 'thinking'

but when I just play normally, and let intuition take over, I perform a lot better. Anyone got anything similar?

like let's say you play something like Zed for example, you focus way to much on trying to 'think' about how you should play out a scenario. swapping with your shadows etc. but you mess up that one fatal q because you tried to much to read and throw it just a sliver to far ahead. or anything similar.

it's a bit difficult to word what I mean.

Trying to have a logical thought process for everything will be a hinderance to you. Leave the things like cs'ing or trading to intuition, as these are rather basic, and save the logical thought processes for the larger stuff(mini-map, when to roam, when to push, whether you want to trade, etc), as these not only take more time to plan out, but also have larger strategic impacts.

So in the situation you highlighted

like let's say you play something like for example, you focus way to much on trying to 'think' about how you should play out a scenario. swapping with your shadows etc. but you mess up that one fatal q because you tried to much to read and throw it just a sliver to far ahead. or anything similar.

that would be better left to intuition, as, chances are, you already know what to do with Zed if you are playing him(one would hope). This means that you have a feel for what he is capable of doing, and therefore the less thought you have to put to enact that. This would leave you room to focus on the enemy's movements.
