cass mains got shrekt

most veigar mains got shrekt

insert reworked failed champion mains got shrecked

I was insanely sad when Veigar got changed from a lanebully/roamer to a boring ranged AP nasus because of his Q becoming a skillshot. All riot accomplished with veigar was making his stun only slightly delayed but in turn they gave him way more range and damage. I'm not saying he is bad but he's no longer a champion I can play all day without becoming extremely bored of him.

tl;dr you're gonna have to take the entire tip m8's

Are there honestly still people who consider the Veigar rework a failure? At least now his kit makes sense. Before we had a lane bully with a stacking mechanic (explain to me how those 2 together makes any sense at all) that fell off late game since he could 1 shot whoever he wanted by mid game. New Veigar's kit actually makes sense. Farm up that AP, get to late game, and become the Final Boss.

Champions like nasus and veigar are mid game champions. A nasus with 500 stacks at 20 minutes is monstrously more impactful than a nasus with 1000 stacks at 40-50 minutes, same thing with veigar; they both rely on getting that insane damage while people have a lack of defense against it.

I buy that for Nasus since adc's eventually get enough dps to deal with him regardless of how many stacks he has. I don't buy that for Veigar. Veigar eventually reaches a point where he can kill people without using his full combo, allowing him to save his spells for other enemies. His stun field also scales harder and harder as the game goes on; AOE hard CC has always scaled really well into the late game. The proliferation of Banshee's does make Veigars job harder but I don't think it's enough to say that he falls off late game.

With merc threads alone veigar cannot keep anyone in his stun long enough for his combo but as you said late game he only needs 2 spells but once MR comes into play he will need his entire combo unless it's a leblanc with 1000 AP.

Veigar reaches his strongest point mid game where he can instakill any carry in the game without them having any form of retaliation or tanks zoning him but late game tanks will be able to zone him hard due to banshees.

I took the Veigar rework (and the Warwick penta-nerf) as a chance to completely drop every main I've ever had and pick up purely new champs.

I enjoy new GP, Ekko, and new Garen. Something about their kits are really fun. Not the old "outplay" kind of fun I used to have though. More of a "LMAO this is so broken, ez win thanks gg" kind of fun.

I don't take League very seriously anymore. And that makes it fun again, in a weird way.

I am sorry but Veigar didn't change that much.

i like new veigar

he feels more.. rewarding?

idk, i don't like new mord but both versions of his kit were/are pretty cancerous. He needs a higher-scope rework that implements both metal and sorcery before I can like him again
