Sooo why is lee sin Q so overstatted?

Hibeki··1 votes·657 views

Idk if anyones realized, buuuut

Lee sin Q has 180% bonus AD. With 350 base damage. And 8% missing health.

Why the fuck does this thing double dip on damage so much?

Just half the casting is enough damage for the ability alone, 175 damage with a dash, .9 ad ratio and 8% missing health. thats good enough as is.

This ability has no ratio scaling by level or rank, barely any cooldown (7 seconds on a cooldown reduction champ?) its just so overstatted.

Why?

He doesnt need the extra damage. He has a 480% bonus AD scaling on his rotation, its pointless. item 1408 alone provides an extra 300 damage to his rotation....

Lee sin compensates with his strong damage by the fact that he has Little follow up damage, is hard to utilize and his first Q is easy as fuck to dodge if you can see it, plus, lee sin telegraphs his Q by turning towards the direction he shoots it at.

it has just as many weaknesses as it has strengths.

The reason lee sin is untouched right now is because he has no follow up. he has initiation, dive, strong clear, very good synergy with most teamcomps, but he is EXTREMELY hard to master, has many different clear paths and gank styles to master, and lee sin falls off hard lategame making him an R bot practically.

Plus, lee sin suffers from Jarvan syndrome. later on you will mostly Build tanky instead of damage. Every lee sin i saw losing a game was one who really went and Build full ad.

All that damage is useless if you die before you can even use your 2nd Skill.

I would not say 300% bonus ad is 'little follow up damage'

It's a one rotation combo. you should mind that. Once lee's combo is burned, he has nothing until his cooldowns are up again. that's what lack of follow up is. he has nothing other than his combos to offer.

So? You're dead. That doesnt matter.

Eternal Torment1 votes

Nope. you don't die from one lee rotation unless he goes full ad and even then it can end up close. Lee is very fragile if he doesnt go tanky.

Actually not true. You can die to QRQ with just item 1408 pre like level 11

See this is why you aren't taken serious.

you see ONLY lee Q stats. you don't see that his R mostly also deals collision damage. his flat stat falls off really hard.

Then you don't seem to think about Armor. These numbers? they are FLAT. his execute damage is PHYISICAL damage not true damage.

Then you have to take in mind, enemy adc whos likely the squishiest. has Heal to use.

And OH? Lee has to gap close to R if he wants the follow up Q

and even then, doing the maths, you don't 100-0 an enemy adc without your e AND some form of bonus damage source, like Hydra active or duskblade proc or dark harvest proc.

If lee was as busted as you say he would have a higher winrate and would be looked at more, but he isn't, and people know that.

Just because you got killed by a lee in a game once doesn't mean he is broken, the gameplay boards are to discuss actual balance. if you wanna vent a personal tantrum, then the Player Behaviour section is the place to be.

Lee R has 2.0 ad on base. It has a small% hp bonuson the collision. So no, its not mostly collission damage.

Do you know why people still go all AD teams? Its because armor is irrelevant until the game is pretty much already over.

Doesnt matter if he falls off, if again, the game is over before that happens. Its not a tantrum, its just fuckin facts. The dudes counterplay isnt relevant anymore.

Welp. this is why noone is trying to argue with you, and why i will stop doing so from now on.

i tried explaining you, but you won't accept the points and Facts. your sole opinion is NOT a fact, why he is however untouched is a fact.

deal with it. he's not as bad as you try portraying him to be.

Hibeki1 votes

Except its not a point, or fact. The dude has more damage in ratios than fucking zed. Him having extreme damage on his kit is fact.

Games are over by 15 minutes. Nobody has time to stack a decent amount of armor by then. Your method of 'oh just stack some armor and you'll be fine' is utter bullshit

waiting until he falls off isnt a reliable option because, once again, the game is most of the time over by that point.

Lee's winrate suffers just like every other high skillcap/floor champion, bad people play them and do poorly. Go look at a lee mains winrate.

Blind handicap.

Because every time Riot tries to nerf Lee Sin, his 10 billion mains put up too much of a stink on Reddit. If Riot ever made drastic changes to Lee, too many players would leave the game (and also stop watching the LCS), which would hurt Riot's wallet. And obviously Riot cares more about their wallet than anything else.
