Can we not straight up GUT Camille?

Precision Protocol (Q) bonus damage on second hit lowered to 70% from 100%

Tactical Sweep (W) Mana cost increased to 60/65/70/75/80 from 50/55/60/65/70 Slow lowered to 60/65/70/75/80% from 90%

Hookshot (E) Mana cost increased to 70 from 50 Stun duration lowered to 0.5 from 1 second.

I get that this champion is pretty overtuned but can we not go straight to Kalistaing her? Just make her ult deactivate if she dies and go through with the W nerfs. Thats really all she needs.

That's not gutting. She's extremely strong and that isn't realy gutting. TBH most of her kit is very telegraphed and shouldn't be too hard to dodge. IMO it's just that her numbers are fucking crazy.

E is pretty fast, if she's standing near a wall.

There's a ton of walls in the game.

Anyway, Q and W are telegraphed, but you can't really do much about Q anyway because of it's CD being so short. There's like... a 1 second window where it's not up mid game.

It's still somwhat predictable and not too hard to avoid, but I'm biased as I play Kha and Yi and they can avoid the damage easily.

Her Q damage?

But yeah, Yi and Kha are top tier duelists and wouldn't have problems fighting her mid-late game. If you ever lane against her, though...

I mean E. Not Q. Q is doable if you have good disengages against her.

Doesn't mean it's not fast shrug.

Q really isn't doable unless your 2 second trade combo does more damage than hers. And if she hit her E, then no, it doesn't. Since then you only get... 1 second to outdamage her and get out (and still win the trade. Then again I guess you could go in when her E's down... but usually her E hitting you gets you to half health almost instantly). Q's short CD means that you can't avoid it and still fight her unless you can literally go in, get out within 1.5 seconds, then go back 1.5 seconds later, and get out within another 1.5 seconds (to avoid her second auto+Q)

I knew they would end up gutting her. But then, you gotta please the whales in an F2P game. Camille forces them to actually think about what they're doing in order to win, rather than just stacking items against her, so she's automatically broken.

Yeah, these nerfs are pretty in line, and not unreasonable. They remove a lot of the power they needed to remove without harming her signature tools of her passive and ult. These will align her very well. The slashing of the damage from Q2 will absolute tone down the ridculousness of her.

Literally no one will agree with you OP. This champion deserves to be gutted like a pig.

I disagree. She does not deserve to be gutted at all. I do not agree with the OP though, because these nerfs are not gutting her, they are pulling her absurd power down to where it should be.

She's not gutted, they just changed her numbers lol

Gutting is when they literally remove stuff from kits or rework abilities (think kindred's W heal and replaced slow)

Although I do think those numbers might be a bit harsh... I can't see her in the jungle with these changes. I do agree she needed hard nerfs but simultaneous nerfs in her 3 main abilities seems too restrictive when you could only touch her Q damage or E reliablity and that be enough right there.

Hey bby, first thing on any surrender@20 post

Warning: PBE Content is tentative and subject to change - what you see below may not reflect what eventually gets pushed to live servers at the end of the cycle! Manage your expectations accordingly.

They tend to test a lot of things and only some of the go through. If you were familiar with how the PBE works you would know that only about 1/3 to 2/3rds of anything on Surrender@20 actually gets to live. Specifically they tend to change a couple areas of a problematic champion at once to find out what the best changes to make are.

If you have an issue with the PBE post on the PBE boards, if you don't have a PBE account and can't post on them then wait until it hits live because that is what these boards are for, discussing live features.

They always do this at the start of a cycle... It's not Camille exclusive. They want to test all the nerfs at once because Pbe playrate spikes at the start of a new cycle, then they'll revert one or two and adjust accordingly.

Looks pretty good to me. For a champion that overtuned harsh nerfs are necessary

jinxedchef1 votes

Sooner or Later that is what will happen. **When a champ has such over loaded kit, the cycle is: **release, perma-banned, multiple nerfs until useless, then left there for a while, then rework.

You seriously have to be kidding me.

They give Yi a double strike BUFF and E pause when he meditates, they give Yasuo bonus AD scaling on his E - AND THEY NERF CAMILLE AGAIN?

You want to know why? She's been destroying all those broken champions and now Riot's imbalance team is working feverishly to make her as vulnerable as all the other victims. Camille does not need her ult deactivated after she dies, that's the way she punishes/traps divers. She doesn't NEED these ridiculous nerfs, they need to leave her the hell alone and work on the real problem champions.
