Can Lulu still be played top ?

I've been trying to find new champs to play top, since I got demoted from d2 to d5 with support.

Wukong is muhh champ, bur he has sooo many bad match ups top with the likes of fiora/darius/jayce/galio etc. I really liked Lulu/GP top last season, I know her q got nerfed hard for solo lanes, but did anyone try to play her again ? Maybe something like RoA - nashors - ardent - athenes or the same build, but morello replacing nashors. Nashors would be amazong in lane but useless late tho.

Sooo, what do you guys think ?

Well depends what u want from it. If u dont have hyper carry and tank in jungle its gonna be hard.

Riot supports solo lane Lulu more than anything that's why they buffed her passive in order to effectively bully people better in lane.

They even mentioned in patch notes when they buffed her they wanted to keep her solo lane intact while still being a support.

You can still be an okay bully (even better against immobile) in lane just lacking wave clear.

EDIT: Also forgot to mention only reason she's not picked much top is because Dorans shield

I play her mid sometimes, can't really say if she's viable or not to a diamond player just know that her waveclear is sensibly weaker
