And Vayne is a pinnacle anti-tank ADC. You can't just bring one person and expect to win out. Vayne's weakness is that she only has single target damage, which means when she's outnumbered she can be easily bursted down.
Normally that's a absolute garbage response. Vayne's W does NOT compensate for Rammus' damage output during a taunt. Furthermore, he primers
and effectively forces them to kill themselves. If he DOES taunt, she's dead, even if she has Armor pen items.
There's a huge difference between thinking about a scenario in terms of kits (because you spend all day moderating) and what actually occurs.
The only champions that currently outdamage Rammus during a taunt are Conquerer
/
, NOT Adcs.
Also, your argument about "easily bursted down" is yet another hypothetical, and usually not at all true versus GOOD Vaynes. Most good Vaynes can literally 1v5, by using E to wall knock the 1 of 5 that is a threat, and then focusing on the next target, and eliminating one before the stun is up, and then Qing around the skirmish to prevent on click abilities and to dodge obvious skill shots.
Numbers make doing her job harder, because she has to think, but does NOT prevent her doing her job. In Some ways, it makes doing her job EASIER, because she always has a reliable target to Q, which gives her another opportunity to go Invisible and restage.
Vayne's true counter is simply taking her out at a range where she neither has minions nor champions to attack.
For example,
can coax out her Q by setting up a Q herself. Vayne will think plants are going to spawn, and Q away to avoid the Q. If you save the seeds for the bluff, you will almost ALWAYS have a vulnerable Vayne whose Q is still triggered, but nothing to attack to reset the tumble part of it. Then Zyra can E her, actually spawn her plants, and Ult, and all from a range Vayne cannot attack her from. THAT is a true counter.
