Returning to our regularly scheduled programming, welcome to 7.4, the one where we make our strongest strides yet toward addressing the #adcin2017 situation. In actuality, this is just the latest in a multi-patch campaign, but previous patches targeted the obstacles keeping marksmen down (overly tanky divers or oppressive early ganks), rather than marksmen themselves. This patch, we’re helping them make an earlier impact on the game so laning and early skirmishing feel less like fighting a fire with a squirt gun.

Then they proceed to nerf LDR, Warlords, nerf every single damage mastery and give a power neutral change to lw (takes 180 armor for the new LW to be better than the old one, and its even worse against non tanks).

Thanks for the adc buffs riot, crit adcs will finally be in a good spot again after all those "buffs" ~~nerfs~~! Lmao.

and from my understanding they didnt necessarily nerf any of the items. they gave as much as they took. more or less it was just a change not outright nerf

And the Warlord's and damage mastery nerfs were because lots of champions abused it, not just ADCs.

Rex apparently thinks it's impossible for Riot to buff ADCs after making these changes which trim down other problem champions.

Except riot said THIS was the patch that buffed the adcs, then they nerfed them.

Now maybe this was a mistake and this was supposed to be in the 7.5 patch notes, but im not giving the benefit of doubt because its riot games we are talking about.

It's more an indirect buff than anything else. With everything hurting less, ADC's will have a better chance to live longer.

LDR needs 1000 health difference to get the bonus 15% damage from 500.

How is that a buff in any way?
