Volibear and Sion need the stuffing nerfed out of them!!!!

ExecutorDill··3 votes·1,228 views

And after that they need nerfing again!!! Rito plz, this is soo infuriating. I have more fun dying to a Yas that to those 2^ They tanky af and do a crap ton of magic dmg. Sion Soul furnace chunked me for 28% of my hp, and that's after resistances and I was playing tank.

And we all know how volibear is... Enough said. W chunks and R grinds.

> > >Sion Volibear<<< You got Mundo in patch 6.2 don't let these unhealthy champs slip under the radar!!!

Sion isn't anywhere near broken, he's honestly quite weak atm and needs buffs before any kind of nerfing.

Volibear on the other hand is the current definition of freelo, so yes no idea why he wasn't whacked a few times with the nerf bat this last patch, he seriously needs it.

Sion is actually strongest early to midgame...

He falls off super hard unless your hp farm hits 875+ and even then, your skills only get easier to dodge as the game goes on.

How is his damage less potent early? This is when people have the least armour and mr, and his q can do upwards of 400 damage at rank 3.

The other two are intended weaknesses of the champion, but the shield is garbage until rank 3+ or having over 2k hp.

While I do agree Volibear is a tad bit too strong because of his ability to build tank and still do extreme amounts of damage; Sion is in no way comparable to him. Sions weak for both Early/Mid of the game and maybe even for a bit late if he lost early hard. He has unreliable damage, and doesn't pick up a lot in durability until he clearly has sufficient gold. If anything after his W was gutted with out any form of compensation he's due for a buff so he becomes something viable other then being a strong support.

Fair point, i'm not saying sion is broken. But from what I learned battling the only way his Q is unreliable damage is if a greedy fool tries to charge it to it's max and let the enemy get away. his Sion charged it enough and smashed right as I was about to leave the zone and this half charge did good dmg. But anyways I was just amazed how his only defensive ability released the strongest burst out of all his kit. It was insane!!

Your meant to pop it. It's not like it only gives him 30 + 6% max hp at rank 1 to 130 + 10% at rank 5, also taking 3 whole seconds to detonate for nothing.

Less that three seconds in most cases because getting your attack above 1.00 isn't hard especially for him since he gains atk spd. Also he has tremdous dps on his ult while he waits for the W to pop and he is a tank so he has no problem waiting on dmg unlike glass cannons.

For Sion's shield to do 28% of your HP, then you would have to have (calculated at your final build's MR) 606 max health, which is less than half of Shen's base stats at that level. I'm sorry you're angry about your game, but Sion is NOT the problem there.

Brockinroll2 votes

Sion is not the problem, as someone who mains him. You'd have to be really.. really far behind to chunk like that, not even ap sion can do that since its a 40% ap scaling. He is not the problem, and needs buff more than anything.

Voli has 1 damage ability, falls off late game, and is easily countered by many commonly played champions.

Just because he can face roll Bronzies that can't hit the lane with their skill shot does not mean he is OP.

I mean sure, when you are over extended in your lane, don't use any wards, and the most reliable team mate you have is a caster minion....he can certainly be scary, but who is really at fault there ya know?

I have been plying Voli since his release and in ranked hold a 60% win rate with him over multiple seasons, he is no stronger now than he ever was. His power comes from back picks and bad play, he is next to worthless once you get into gold or higher unless you are just a boss.

What are you going to nerf on him?

His Passive has already been nerfed....

His W has already been nerfed and only really deals a lot of damage to someone who is already dead....

His Fear only effects minions......the slow is short.....

What do you want to nerf, his W? Then he has nothing.....

Long story short, learn to play a champ with some CC.

Sion? Unhealthy.

He has probably the most fair moveset in the game.

Volibear isn't doing anything he couldn't do in the past, and people have been complaining about him for a long time now. The truth is, his play pattern is more juggernaut than tank, and because of it, he is allowed do incredible amounts of damage if he actually gets on top of someone for a period of time. But that's just it. He's got to be in melee range, and he has to be their a while.

I once had a 5 game win streak with Devourer Volibear. My total score was 52/17/38.

Sion has problems. A lot of problems. But, as a disruption tank, he can round out a team well enough to inflate his winrate in such a way that doesn't reflect his strength in a vacuum.

You guys make it seem getting in melee range is that hard....

It wasn't three seasons ago, but mobility creep and ample soft CC and the advent of self-peeling item actives makes playing all-melee dashless champs less fulfilling.

Secondly, it's not getting in melee range that's necessarily the problem, it's staying in melee range. Volibear has to stack his W, for instance, and of course his on hit ult is pretty useless if you're not constantly hitting the target.

Sion might just be the healthiest champ in the game bro... XD

Can't say much for Voli though... Shrug... I think your overreacting a bit...

If you're losing to a Sion, you don't even deserve Silver & above. Currently, Sion is considered crap right now, due to his activation nerf on his W.

Noksterz1 votes

Sion is weak as hell! And hes been that way for damn near a year now. He has asinine cc and lockdown potential which makes him always sorta viable, but hes just not as good at doing what others can do better
