Does Kennen feel clunky to anyone else?

I'm by no means a Kennen player at all. The few times I ever play him is on ARAM. Although, the few times I do play him, to me he feels very clunky and old. (Which obviously he is). I'm just wondering what Riot thinks about Kennen. His kit, his playstyle. It just feels like Kennen doesn't have much of an identity or a character. He's just some Yordle with a static charge like when a cat rubs up against you.
