Trinity is still trash but it is less trash then rage blade at this point.

Heck Wit's end is arguably less trash then rageblade on melee at this point and that is saying something considering it has been trash on most everyone besides WW and Shyv since preseason 3.

You still have to stack it. And you get blown up before you can stack it in team fights.

Lets put it simply.

If you can get it to 6 stacks for the phantom strike it is good and more then worth the cost.

The issue is getting it to the 6 stacks past laning phase.

Irelia's Q does not give you a stack It is literally only auto attacks and not on hit abilities.

All the while it costs a lot more then a sunfire cape or IBG which the other top laner more then likely will have a good 4 or 5 minutes before you in the best of situations.

Yea, I figured it would only be good in the laning phase but had enough raw stats (30/55) to carry over to late game even without the stacks. The cost is the real drawback. You build a recurve bow (25% AS) but lose it on combine unless you get 3+ stacks on it. The raw components are individually worth the cost, but the extra 875 gold only guarantees you 10 AD/10 AP with the rest relying on a stacking passive.

Ugh... Gunblade is a better alternative if reliable raw stats is all we want.

WW, Kayle, Andy will likely still use it. It's at a 130% gold efficiency. They have on hit elements. I can see this on a cinderhulk or fed shyvana. She also has on hit with her q and can stack it a little faster if if timed right since it's an aa reset. It will benefit her due to the phantom hit.
