i dont have an issue with item 3156 how it is now.. the issue i have is AP only get item 3157 while AD get AND item 3139

item 3157 donest need to be stronger.. we just need another AP armor item with a different passive/ active to use along with it.

or banshees veil just needs rework/buff for it is complete shit compared to qss

qss/zhonyas=gives you a choice on when you want to use the ability

Banshees veil-can get popped by a single ahri q and has a 50 minute cooldown

item 3102 AGAIN gives MAGIC resist AND has no AP

even if it was reworked into somthing better we need AP and ARMOR. not magic resist and health

I am a AP assassin main

My favorite champions are in order

1-Ahri 2-LeBlanc 3-Ekko 4-Kassadin 5-Diana

Since I find the majority of Ad assassins excludeing Zed terrible right now, I will default to AP mages as a secondary favorite pick

I love

1-Azir 2-Oriana 3-Lulu 4-Vlad 5-Morgana

If you look at my screenshot you will see I play abit of everything, because of this I have a heavy understanding of both sides of the story in how tanks feel, in how mages feel, in how marksman feel, in how fighters feel, I know both sides of the story.

I can tell you, mages are fine as is, ap assassins are fine as is

I can also tell you, this is not the assassin meta, this is the marksman meta, what kills marksman? Assassins, or heavy cc mid laners (example lissandra/oriana)

Mages do not need more itemization, our itemization is just fine, we are mid/late game carries, that is how it is suppose to be, that is how it always has been.

Ad mid laners/top/junglers are early/mid game carries (excluding Devour junglers, they scale differently)

You do not need a item that gives both AP and CC negation, you already have zhonyas, zhonyas was nerfed for very justified reasons because good players who didn't suck balls, and god forbid if you gave them a kill would complete it by 12-16 minutes

That was not balanced by any means

now say it with me MAGES are fine, the majority of them have 50 percent or higher win loss ratios

the assassin meta is a myth, you only see Zed and Ahri, occasionally LeBlanc

Oh look 2 out of 3 of those are also classified as mages

The assassin meta is a overhyped idea that assassins are meta when in reality we are only seeing a very specific single assassin.

Which is dumb. There really is no excuse to not have an AP equivalent. All they have is Zhonyas which is expensive and takes the entire item to be useful. While Maw you can get Hexdrinker which is cheap and easy to get and basically shuts down any AP user.

Who cares and why does it matter?

Maw should not be better than Zhonya's simply because Zhonya's used to be better than Maw... like no shit it was better, Maw was a bad item with terrible stats for its cost... you bought Hexdrinker then sold it for GA... Maw and Zhonya's fill a similar niche, they should have equal power and equal reason to be built...

It doesn't mean that Maw needs to take its place for another four years. Maw has a lot going for it with the changes and it leaves playing a lot of mages as an underwhelming experience.

Didn't Zhonyas get a price increase this season? And if memory serves, Maw got a slightly better build path, it lost 5-40 AD but gained 10 magic resist, 10 armor pen, and then the lifeline passive.

item 3156 was a great, but situational item for bruisers. Champions like JarvanIV LeeSin bought this item often when they wanted ad and mr at the same time. Now maw is core on Zed Talon Quinn Graves Kalista KogMaw whenever the opponent brave enough to pick a burst mage. Right now it's give high defense and offense at the same time. item 3139 supposed to be the defensive option for ad carries/assasins just like item 3157 for mages. They fixed the problem with with this nerf, but they just overbuffed item 3156 . Overbuffing an item just because it was weaker than another item is poor and bad balancing. for bruisers, for ad carries for mages. that's how it worked and it was fine. Now item 3139 item 3053 for ad carries and item 3157 for mages. It is a little bit too much. item 3190 item 3097 also there for some extra defense.
