I think MSI proved that Gnar is still broken

Top lane was incredibly repetitive in the tournament as a whole. Mao, Gnar, Hec, Rumble and Irelia. That's it aside from the couple of Cass picks.

Urgot, Cass, LB, Kalista, Gragas were pick or ban. This tournament was so boring, they were playing almost the same champions time after time

I don't know, he was picked a lot, but I didn't think he had near the in-game impact of the other top-laners. I honestly think it was a case of players falling back on their comfort champs in a high-pressure situation rather than a sign that he is broken.
