The stunning consistencey of people describing champion interaction as if it was in a vacuum

It really irks me. Urgot Telegraphs, therefore he shouldn't be a problem. Such and such champ has this or that weakness ergo, stop complaining that hes too strong.

Okay, guys.....the game is not a vacuum. Urgot telegraphs...great, good to know, until you are surprised, distracted, ganked, or stunned, and then he's just some monster who can tank, CC and deal massive damage.

The fact that any given champion CAN be countered or there is counterplay has absolutely no bearing on whether or not that champion is too strong or his kit is over loaded.

I am stunned that you people don't understand this.

No matter how strong a champion is, you can always make the case that if you wait till they use such and such ability or don't get caught by x ability or watch out for his x ability, then you can deal with him is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT as to whether or not that champion is too strong or his kit does too much.

Get it?

Just because a champion is telegraphed means nothing if you can't do anything against it.

Let's take...for example, Udyr. He's telegraphed as fuck. His action is always extremely clear to you. Yet you really can't do anything against it, because it's just "run at you and beat you to death". You know exactly what he's doing, but lmao at really doing anything against it that doesn't involve killing him before he reaches you, because you'd have to be pre-nerffix HoB Jhin to actually outrun him as a ranged champion.

I'd rather someone who had near instant shit over someone who's "counterplay" was just them being telegraphed.

If u watch carefully proplayers u see they can countet these skill just by champion mevements.

If u cant thats already a skill gap. It exists and u want to deny it.

If someone chains to allow telegraphed skill to hit, they used brain and tactic to achieve something.

Vacuum is needed to "balance" stuff itselff. See when morgana q is slow, see about thresh hook or bliz hook hitbox..

Iam confused about how u would balance these things not in a vacuum

If you watch proplay, you can see that some of the most telegraphed champs(Urgot, Sion and Aatrox) are pick/ban....

Sure, useing the vacuum for a raw draft of balance is practical, but you need to see how thigns work out in context with the actuall game, aka in it's interaction with enemies and allies. OP is right in saying that beeing telegraphed does not automatically mean balanced or easy to deal with, and balanceing in a vacuum only works for getting a rough idea on where the champ stands, but is in no way sufficient for proper balance on it's own.

And it s what they so with the.regular patches. Urgot is not taken for his ult, rather than for his tankiness / sustain / damage His ult is a surpluss and.teammates always cover the ones with low hp.

Sion is same plus cc

Aatrox is a cc machinegun with a free ga

Morgana and her 2s root? No picked. Why?

Isnt she picked because of her blackshield? Used to be the case at least.

"If u watch carefully proplayers u see they can countet these skill just by champion mevements."

Cool story, so why do they still die every match?

Shukr4n1 votes

Wait u are telling me that...they,shoud avoid 100% all game long all these skills? Are u aware that it s the.best.players tournament?

No really... if this is the.kind of logic i better leave u here whining.

I feel you to much buddy, I also hate it when people accidently counter pick you and then just blame it on the fact that your bad that your losing, someone lectured me that Darius is a hard champ to play and that I was just bad at Riven. - Pim :(

don't forget that every argument for or against a champ design only involved 1v1 and no minions or obstacles at all

TekkenPlayer1 votes

I'd argue that champions that are telegraphed are being more valued than champions with all sorts of intricacies in their kit lately

Good point!
