Fiora reworked to be more Grand Duelist, Jax needs a rework to be more Grandmaster at Arms

Honestly the only part of his kit that screams "Grandmaster" is his E

No other part of his kit really fits the Grandmaster theme nor does it fit the "at arms" piece since he only uses one weapon and doesn't seem to switch between them or show amazing mastery with it. He just bludgeons you over and over with it.

No part of his kit screams "wow he mastered the art of wielding any type of weapon!" it just tells us "man he knows how to hit you plainly with a lamppost"

I love Jax and all, but I feel like he could be incredibly badass as a fleshed out Grandmaster if reworked. He could also use a VU to be more like he was in the Cinematic.

'Grandmaster at Arms' refers to the fact that you can build any item (except item 3085 ) on him and it will still somehow work out.

Thematically I think he's fine - the fact that he can beat the crap out of literal Gods like Renekton with nothing but a lamp screams 'grandmaster' to me.

And I think his kit is one of the most well designed kits in the game. It flows together nicely, has counterplay as well as outplay potential, and isn't overly complicated for no reason (cough Ekko ). Jax is a man who knows what he's about.

It doesnt matter if its well designed or not, it's not a Grandmaster's kit. It's just 3 generic abilities + 1 interesting mechanic (E) just like pre-rework Fiora but her (W)

Renekton stomps the ever living shit out of Jax btw.

It would be amazing if his passive actually interacts with his items he builds making him a master

I don't really. His current kit is really liked among his fan base overall. I don't see any really big reason to REWORK it. I mean, its a little bit thematic. The only way I can see him being more Grandmaster of Arms is to make his ultimate become something like, I dont know, changing between a lot of different weapons with different kits, but those kits are usually a problem to balance.

I was mainly thinking revamping his W and R, without changing them completely. The rest seem good on his kit already.

He's called that because he can pretty much use every stat in the game

There isn't a single stat that's wasted on him that would be wasted on other champs, even obscure ones like mana and spellvamp

i think jax now after fioras rework can be easily stomped in lane by mostly every top laner early game , and can easily deny him cs, i play him a lot but i dont think he is an excellent top lane after all the top lane reworks and new champs , even tryndamere can out trade him with his fury full without his E on :/ so a minor rework would be sufficient not to go over board with him
