I mean, perhaps your favorite champions are cancerous to others, or frustrating to the point they dont want them to be viable. Basically its just a big circle of people crying about X champion being annoying and wanting X champion gutted. Very annoying.

Because their kits are extremely annoying to play against, doesn't matter with which build they are viable. AD, AP, Tank fizz are all cancer. Same as nidalee. Can't run away from them, can't reach them

Fiora ( easily countered ), Darius ( extremely immobile, annoying in lane, but only that, extremely useless after. Riven is way more annoying, while being good after laning phase ), Malzahar , Katarina ( annoying, but is this meta? she is fine. ), Vel'koz.
