How long does it take to fix a bug

Seriously guys, you haul in 1.6 billion a year. Your bugs should be fixed much faster. Hire more or better people if you are going to slow about it. Get Rengar and Aatrox back in the game.

As a person who worked QA at a F500 company, before becoming dev, i can tell you they are not as easily fixed as you believe. They probably, almost certain, have thousands of bugs backlogged that need to be fixed and every day more are found that are more important.

Even a fix to one bug can break and create 9 more bugs. Code is not so easily modified.

codeing Azir has been a literal nightmare, he was orignally made around season one from what I was told and was named "the sand prince"

That means he has been such a codeing nightmare that riot waited over 4 years to release him to the public just to still have a million bugs.

Good to see a expert post on the subject though : P, i'm nothing more then a guy who took a few classes while having a few hacker friends, so I only know the basics.

I could see it being a nightmare of a task back in s1 with all the animations azir has. Most champs take years to produce. I remember back in s3 when i got invited to a closed beta I got to see and give my opinion on a champ that looked like a tremor. Come behold we now have reksai but that took what? another year.

Back to the topic, big compaines like these its not rare to have 50k+ bugs. My company personally is over 200k. Its just what big data is.

First you have to find out what the bug is, then you have to locate where it is, then you have to find out what the problem is, and then you have to come up with a solution.

This process can take anywhere from a day to a month depending on how complex the error is. Hell the ZZROT portal bug was so complicated that it took riot a whole patch to fix it.

This has something to do with the new warlords mastery right? Figures they finally do something that benefits Aatrox tremendously and they have to take him down.

It doesn't but I bet because it involves Aatrox they are taking their sweet ass time. If was Riven this shit would be fixed in 8 minutes.

Kid calm down lol, no one is conspiring again'st you, infact the fact that riot announced the Aatrox bugs means they are prioritizing it, seriously take a chill pill.

Hes been down since Thursday. It is now Saturday night. He's my main, and I'm a customer. Any customer has any right to be upset that the service that they pay for (lets dispense with the this is a free game bullshit, most people spend money on the account or they wouldn't be bringing in 1.6 billion a year.), is down. I work and go to school, full time both. I had a nice block of time from Thursday till today when I could have gotten a lot of games in. Of course it irritates me that Aatrox is not available. You can correct me all you want, but please keep the name calling out of it.

Not unless Warlords is making Aatrox fly off the screen and effectively be invisible to those he's attacking. I'll let you try and guess how that one happened.
