After getting four items, boots included. Besides, she was clever. Building thornmail against what was essentially a full AD team. TF and Cass deal with Kat. The rest is up to Kayle and Lucian.
Play Hard CC or ranged champs, get jungler to camp top and you set Kayle back hard. You played Riven, so it's mostly a skill match and you didn't bring SRS or TLD, of course you'll get poked out.
And Kayle was played and is played mainly by one-tricks so she outskilled you on positioning probably. Stop being salty as heck, Kayle has glaring weaknesses that can be abused.
