Lucian ult rank should lower ult duration from 3 seconds to 1.5-2 seconds?

Hi all

Lucian ult late game does decent damage, but is so hard to land it is almost useless especially since everyone at that point has 400-500 movement. It's a little underwhelming to channel an ult for 3 seconds only to land 5 out of 25 shots. Not only that, any displacement will cancel the ult, and you get no refund on the cooldown if that happens. No wonder ppl only use it to farm.

So what you guys think. Should Lucian ult duration go down by rank 11 and 16 by about 0.5 seconds each?

So lower the duration but increase his fire rate during his ult as it's leveled?

Doesn't he already fire more shots based on his attack speed?

So double the DPS of his Ultimate.

Honestly, Lucian ult is so unreliable late game and does little damage compared to his auto attacks. I think it would be fine. He is an ad caster after all

First, it's difficult for people to get past 430 movement speed in most cases, especially other Marksmen. Boots grant +45 for most T2 sets, and even at the highest base of 355, most %MS boosts don't bump you that much.

Second, you have access to these MS items and a dash. The ult is all about positioning and chasing at the same time (occasionally it can be used to shoot on the run as well, but you get the point). If you didn't get enough hits to kill, you didn't account for how your target would run.

Yea, but if he gets a lock on someone a bit squishy with his ult, he can literally one shoot him with only his ult, from pretty far away.

yea but it takes like 3 seconds to do so. A mage can burst ppl in 1 second. Adc's like draven can take 1-2 seconds to destroy a lux. The damage on his ult is not insane, it just super hard to land unless the target is cc

But neither of them can do that from the edge of sight range.

well true, but at that point the ult is even harder to land. The bullets take longer to reach target giving them time to reach. The only sitiation that works in is when target is outnumbered and really has no option but to go straight or face certain death by side stepping.

His ult is highly situational and falls off late game.
