It would be nice to see scrapped mechanics from old kits recycled into new champions
there's a lot of potential for new takes on old abilities that could work out much better when placed onto newer kits with proper focus around those features
some examples would be old 
ults. The idea of a carry-like juggernaut champ getting to lifesteal his whole team up as long as he keeps close and keeps fighting is awesome, and old Aatrox's ult letting him orbwalk like an ADC is something no other melee champ was able to do.
