Elo hell... and how one guy trying to disprove it helped prove it...

So I was playing some Flex Q... I hit gold in solo, so I wanted to hit gold in flex...

Anyway, I notice we have Tahm Kench with smite in the "bot role." K... trolls.

They said they were trying to prove to their friend that elo hell doesnt exist, and would play Tahm Kench with Smite to prove it...

They did fairly well all things considered.

Then we took Baron, and were in their base.... and thats when the elo-hell demons rose up form the pit to drag everyone down closer to their domain.

Instead of hitting the nexus... they dance. They dance their ass off. Well the enemies respawn and kill the super minions and dancing clowns with half the nexus health left. Instead of grouping and getting some picks, then going in and finishing things off, or grouping and makeing a hard push for the nexus, they keep trying stagger in.

Stuff happens we lose. A perfectly in the bag match thrown on the ground cause of idiot teammates acing like asses and trying to stroke themselves off instead of finishing off the nexus.

In post game I reminded that Tahm that elo hell is in part due to troll teamates, and not hitting the nexus and dancing was a troll throw maneuver and they proved that elo-hell was real.

Now Im not trying to make this some "convince people elo hell is a thing" topic. I mostly wanted to point out that some dumbass BM stunt by some team mate threw the match that I could have gotten 20 LP from and instead lost 17, and for some players that get unlucky, they can get these kinds of players back to back or every other match making climbing feel impossible. Me Ill still be fine, Im only trying for gold in flex as a challenge, but these kinds of clowns exist in solo q too.

I guess you can call this a rage post, but I mean not really. This kind of ignorant stuff happens in 1/3 matches, I just picked this one to talk about because people who climbed out of lower ranks before they saw too much of this dont see what some others see. That guy specifically mentioned elo hell, and when they danced and threw I was like... "my shit teammates are holding me back from winning games, and its being done by the guy saying elo hell doesnt exist... wow!"

Anyway, tell me Im noob, or trash, downvote, upvote, organize a sit in, whatever because I said elo hell is a thing. Just wanted to tell the story of the dancing derp proving a point while trying to disprove it. Good day.
