Duskblade isn't as overpowered as you think. (On Zed)

Before you downvote just because I'm a Zed main (Actually that gives me more experience as to why its not broken) or because you just hate Zed

1: MOST Of the time if not all the time, Zed's ult would have already been enough to kill the target and since duskblade procs first (2 seconds while Zed is 3) It would have basically been useless, if you didn't kill them with Duskblade and Zed ult's popped right after.

2: It has a 120 seconds cooldown, and you don't get to choose when you use it, as it'll auto go off when you AA (And you can't just not AA when jumping on someone with a Zed ult) So its very hit and miss on when its actually good.

3: Its build is really expensive, so you can't just rush it without sitting on a TON Of gold to get the BF sword and its combinded cost of (850). Which you can could on other items, I wouldn't recommend building it any earlier then your 3rd or 4th item.

4: The only useful thing i see going for this item on Zed is killing a tank, but even then that was still possible before easily when we had the old Last Whisper, so I don;t see much of a change here.

It's only been a day since its release, but I honestly think most of you are overreacting on how actually strong this item is on Zed.

3250 gold is expensive?

try having to build item 1058 for all of your items, let me know how your power spikes turn out as opposed to your gradual power increases on every single buy with your superb item 1036 flexibility

its super easy to build, you just havent realized it yet.

id trade the minor AoE on ludens for the single target burst DB gives any day.

item 3003 item 3089 item 3285 item 3157 item 3135 is a build.

item 1036 item 1036 item 1036 item 3133 item 3134 is just trying to win lane.

The build path is expensive, having to wait for enough gold for BF sword since it has no compenent and on top of a 850 combine cost.

wow. standard first rush on zed item 3142 costs 50 more g,

except you get better kill pressure from DB. and lose the active. if anything your first rush became glaringly better and more obvious.

item 3156
literal same cost, but screw over your enemy mid laner instead, while still keeping kill pressure...

item 3153 extra 200g

item 3071 250g

item 3074 250g because screw your inventory, thats why.

item 3072 if you choose to buy it.... 450g BF SWORD

item 3031 350g. BF SWORD

literally your cheapest item, while offering TREMENDOUS ad and penetration for its value.

its not that expensive, so what if you cant liquidate 850g right away into 20ad from two long swords. thats just 2 waves of gold and a kill or 4 measly waves. thats 2 minutes of laning at the most, what, cant go 2mins without backing?

or do you struggle to farm and it takes you 8 waves instead?

Do, you know what BUILD PATH MEANS? The build PATH is expensive, having to sit on 1400 gold for a bf and the 850 gold combine cost.

Jesus read what I said.

no it isnt, its 3 backs, let me know when you back with less than 1200 gold and buy nothing and head back to lane because you're still saving. or you make an immediate alternate buy because you're too weak and feeding to show back up to lane with nothing.....

oh wait, zed never has that problem.

an average mid laner does that 4 times a game.

In the end, I find this item extremely situational on Zed since late game he gets strong enough to kill someone with just his ult. Actually, the only time it would be a "great" buy is if Zed lost lane pretty hard. That way his teammates can help Zed by stacking damage on his target before Duskblade procs. Either that, or against a heavy bruiser comp.
