Why am I getting the same duo twice

First time I can carry them. The game finishes at 22 minutes. They end the score 0/3 and 0/1 respectively. The next time I queue i have them again. They go 1/11 and 3/10. I am unable to carry them to victory. I go 13/5.

Why am I being placed with these people twice in a row?

Well, you have the same MMR as their combined duo does.

Their MMR went up with your wins, same as your MMR, which is why you got placed with them again.
